Outstanding hotel!
Absolutely the best hotel we've ever stayed at! Wonderful staff and the most fantastic location. The cafe being free was a real lifesaver for some late nights, don't sleep on it! The free breakfast on the balcony is a great way to start your day in such a beautiful city.
Would stay again
10 stars!! We are just leaving a 2 week stay in Mexico. One week in Oaxaca. One week in Mexico City at Zocalo Central Hotel. Best place I’ve ever stayed and we’ve been to some very expensive and exclusive hotels all over the world. This was a great stay with the nicest staff I’ve ever met. The manager, Francisco, and the bell hop, Eduardo, were exceptional but all the staff we met were wonderful. They made the place what it is. The hotel is beautiful and in an ideal location—half a block from the city center. It was not noisy despite the throngs of people outside on holidays and weekends. The buffet breakfast is excellent in the balcony with a view of the cathedral and zocalo (city center). There is a cafe in the lobby with a limited but free menu 24 hours a day. It saved us time and money. We are senior citizens so at the end of our daily tours (starting a block from the hotel), we were sometimes too tired to go to a restaurant in the evening. We’d order the soup and 1 sandwich to split from the cafe and call it a night. The room was not huge but adequate. We will be back next year for a few days as we do our usual 3 weeks in Mexico every January. My only complaint is NOT with the hotel but with the patrons. We tipped regularly despite not having to pay for food. Other patrons did not. People in Mexico have very low salaries and deserve a tip.
The staff was friendly, caring and very helpful. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. It was an excellent experience. The views at the rooftop restaurant are amazing and the food is delicious and it was all inclusive. I really recommend this hotel you won't be disappointed.
The complementary breakfast was excellent, especially when you order a la carte.
Great stay. Would definitely recommend staying here and stay here again myself. Very friendly staff and beautiful property. I don’t think the photos really do the ambiance of the place justice. Some of my favorite parts of this hotel were: 1- beautiful rooftop bar/restaraunt overlooking the city. Delicious cocktails and an amazing view - I can’t imagine it getting better than this elsewhere in Mexico City. 2- café downstairs with free food/drinks included in your reservation. I really only utilized this for coffee, but you can actually get all your meals here complimentary. 3- close to the airport, racing stadium, and shops/restaurants. Walkable and easy to get Ubers/taxis. My few cons- room was small (I got a standard queen room). The bed was comfy, and everything was very clean. But the queen bed felt more like a full and the room itself was not very big. I would upgrade and get a bigger room if you are down for the splurge. A hot tub would be great, and the gym is very limited. But - overall, wonderful stay and would stay here again!
This property was in a great location and was well maintained. Because if past global news of co2 deaths we did travel with a monitor. Our monitor did go off several times during our stay. We turned off the a/c unit and opened the window for the remainder of our stay and never had another alarm. Highly recommend one of these monitors. The decor and style of the hotel was beautiful. There was a free cafe available to all guests that served beverages, coffees and sandwiches , fruit. Free bottled water and fruit was available on each floor. The staff during checkin were friendly and inviting as was the bellboy. The restaurant on the six floor was wonderful with an unmatched view of the adjacent iconic square.
This hotel was so beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The free breakfast was incredible.
This property was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The proposal is beautiful!! I have never felt so safe in Mexico. Also, the view from My room was priceless. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this hotel.
A great experience. First time in Mexico City and this hotel has everything. Staff is professional. Walking distance to everything in down town.
The hotel was within walking distance of many the museums, monuments and all the stores that we wanted to see, or a taxi was nearby if we didn't feel like walking. The staff was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help on a moment's notice. The food in the hotel's restaurant was excellent and all with a great view.
