Lovely hotel and rooms. But staff are incompetent and added things to my bill I didn't owe. Having travelled for 20 hours, I arrived at the pre booked, pre paid room and was denied access. The room was paid for by the company, and the booking form had a card on it for pre auth for extras, but they still demanded another full payment from me before they would let me in. Tired and weary, I was asked for nearly $1000 USD on top of the booking to get a key and sleep. I am an SPG gold member and they match status with other hotels so I had access to the lounge and breakfast included. The front desk agreed this was the case. On the fist day I could not get access to the lounge with my key, and the lady on the desk wouldn't help me, so I went to the restaurant and had my breakfast there. I stayed for 4 nights and retuned home. Once home, they invoiced me for all the food that was included and demanded payment by taking it again from the company. This was highly embarrassing for me, but they did this to discredit me to force me to pay it. I did so after asking for the payment forms three times. I feel that I have been swindled , and that they are like any other dodgy hotel - if they can get money out of you that you don't owe, they will, and they will use underhand tactics to get it. Its a lovely hotel, and the brand is a good one, but I don't trust this hotel one iota. There are plenty of really good hotels within a matter of metres from this location, and I would suggest to you, if you don't want to pay double, find another one.
The moment you walk in the front door. Jessie will meet you. If you are a return guest he will meet you by name and remember a detail about you or your family. Then Renata the concierge was extremely warm and helpful. The club lounge is wonderful for breakfast. The view of the volcanoes is amazing. Jesus and Christofer welcomed my husband and I each morning with our coffee and favorite juice as we entered the lounge. The selection for breakfast was fresh and the made to order eggs delicious. I can highly recommend this hotel. The location next to Park Plaza is perfect.
We hosted one of our software training events at the Westin Santa Fe, Mexico City, October 2017. We were provided professional, quality services from Front Desk to Housekeeping. The venue was in a nice location, fulfilled all of our trainers and attendees needs and the food was excellent. A big thank you to Banquet Manager, Diana Gutiérrez, who was our Event Coordinator. Many thanks to your property and team for accepting our business. We hope to do business with you again in the future.
I have stayed at the Westin for 4 nights. The room was spacious and very confortable. Breakfast buffet is great. Gym open 24 hours, a great roof bar. It has also spa ( I have not tried it though). The best is the service. Everybody has been very, very helpful and friendly during the whole time
For business stay this hotel was great, very spacious room and bath, clean, and in good condition. The staff was very friendly and solved any issue promptly. Breakfast was nice and was served till 11. The gym is opened 24/7. The hotel is ideally located if you work in the Santa Fe area, but note this area is quite far from the city center.
One of the nicest areas in Mexico City. The hotel is beautiful the suites are very spacious and the views are spectacular. The restaurants in the area are superb all within walking distance, just a walk across front entrance of hotel and down the escalator for fabulous dinner. Breakfast is included with reservation of a suite and the attention and service is fantastic Bar has a very nice ambience, noticed a lot of locals frequent the hotel restaurant and bar. You will not be disappointed staying in this hotel.
It is a good and modern hotel, good for business as it has a good infrastructure for events and small meetings. The service is good, well trained, but has the face of big hotels, something impersonal. The rooms are big with one fantastic view and mainly a very quiet location, good for a night of sleep.
This is a very nice hotel in Mexico City. The hotel staffs are very courteous and eager to help. There is a very nice executive lounge in the hotel. It is kind of strange that they will ask you to sign a bill for your visit to executive lounge although I told them that I am a platinum member of SPG. I also have to agree to a charge for my use of wifi. Those charges did not appear in the final bill when I checked out as they promised. The large plasma TV in the room was impressive as some of the Mexican hotels still use old analog TVs. The room is the same as in any other Westin. The only drawback of this hotel is that it is too far from the Benito Juarez international airport. It costed us Mex$388 from airport to the hotel and Mex$600 from hotel to airport.
Great place for work and pleasure. Loved the attention and the bell boy's attention to detail and customer service. I loved how clean the rooms are, beds are comfy, and the bathroom with bathtub is amazing.
This hotel is here to serve the business customers of the area, which I was too so it makes sense. I would not stay here if wanting to tour Mexico City much. But as far as close proximity to places such as Microsoft, it wasn't bad, Still an uber or a cab ride, but they were really cheap. The hotel is nice, nothing really to complain about in it. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful Pros: lots of good Restaurants very very close to hotel. Mall close to hotel. American and tech companies are a 3-5 minute drive from this hotel. cons: None that I recall. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. it was a nice place, friendly people and good ameneties nearby.
