Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel

We expend most time out the hotel. But the people (worker),were very nice.

In Reforma Ave. Just in front of the "Angel". Hip on hip off bus stops just across the street.

Found blood all over room. In comforter, pillow casings, sheets and bathroom walls. Didn't even have manager call me to apologize nor offer a change room. All they did was clean it. I was too busy to make a fuzz about it. . Crazy... wow.

Wonderful place. Incredible service and a very warm staff

I honestly expected more of the Sheraton Maria Isabel due to its prime location right across from the world renown Angel de la Independencia monument. In my opinion, it's just an OK hotel which caters to tourists. Their staff really do go "the extra mile" to please guests, no doubt about it! The building itself is in pretty bad shape; it's pretty old with a touch of modernity here and there; the windows are beat up and the tiny pool was quite disappointing. Yet, the cleanliness is not questioned. They offer tour packages at reasonable prices. We took the one to the Teotihuacan pyramids. We chose to go on a private tour to feel safe and to learn more about the site. Disappointing, to say the least! The tour guide,+ Sr Gustavo Gomez, claimed to have worked there for nearly 30 years but all he did was to talk about his personal life; how lucky he has been for being so fit and attractive, and at one point, he got a phone call and told us it was his mistress!!! Very unprofessional! He also demanded that our kids would look at him and pay attention to his explanations but I think he lacked the expertise to talk to them. He lacked the vocabulary to engage them. The best thing was to get to Teotihuacan safely in a nice car but I would not recommend going with him.

Great service, good room, clean and neat. In the center of DF life. Saturday nights, and Sunday morning you can jog, walk or bike in the Reforma Ave, because is closed for sports activities. A lot of restaurants around Great stay

Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Comfortable bed, bathtub and a window that opens for fresh air. Very helpful English speaking staff. Starbucks located just outside the hotel.

Nice experience. well kept and great staff. Rooms are nice and confortable. Although in front of busy street, room was very quiet

Had to change rooms twice due to excessive noise and or broken shower, broken curtains. First 2 rooms were in older tower. Confusion checking in First night. 2nd night a man tried to rob us in front of hotel, my husband and I got sick after eating in restaurants recommended by the hotel, spent US$280 for a doctor who came to our room and gave my husband a shot. But staff were polite

The place is with in 10-15 minutes car drive from the main tourist attractions. The location is hard to beat. The hotel is also walking distance to many good places to eat. Reforms is lovely and safe.

Good location, Good price the building is getting old but it is not a big deal

I had read many complaints about this hotel. Many people said that it was in desperate need of a renovation. Before going arrival I was a bit wary of this. We stayed in one of the 'unrenovated' rooms and I found it to be very comfortable. The decor might be 20 or so years old, but it was all very tasteful and in good condition and clean. AND the bed was extremely comfortable. Everyone at the front desk and the bellboys were personable and helpful. And I think we paid less than $100/night. Who can complain about that. And the location can not be beat.

Services quite good the people working there were exceptional. I speak Spanish in addition to English but did not need to use it because everyone just about spoke English. If you want a decent price in the thick of it all, this is the place.

Everything was very good but the internet was a disaster and the tv had no volume i had to contact customer service everyday

Was ok. No extraordinary, not ordinary... Rug can use some cleaning. Magnetic card didn't work last night. Curtains didn't close completely.

Two pleasent days, enjoyed the breakfast, the lobby bar and "Mariachi" music.

Great location with the statue out front and within walking distance of several great restaurants. Area felt very safe. There was a bar inside with live Mariachi bands the night we were there (Saturday).

The hotel was perfect, we stayed there before, and the service is pretty good, how ever i rented a car in cancun and i got the wrong location and avis wnated to charge more money for taxes, so i did not take the car rental, I called the insurance company for my refund and i havent Heard from them. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks Adriana Hart

I use to stay in this hotel because its location in Mexico City can’t be any better. The hotel is clean and nice, but old. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is old and the walls look empty. Definitely, if you are interested in room style and decoration, you’d better look for something else. If you’re looking for a great location, this is your place.

Was in the city taking a class and really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The food options were subpar but the location was great! Should be noted this area is extremely gay friendly and there is a lot of nightlife options. Felt safe!
