Great service, good room, clean and neat. In the center of DF life. Saturday nights, and Sunday morning you can jog, walk or bike in the Reforma Ave, because is closed for sports activities. A lot of restaurants around Great stay

Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Comfortable bed, bathtub and a window that opens for fresh air. Very helpful English speaking staff. Starbucks located just outside the hotel.

Nice experience. well kept and great staff. Rooms are nice and confortable. Although in front of busy street, room was very quiet

Had to change rooms twice due to excessive noise and or broken shower, broken curtains. First 2 rooms were in older tower. Confusion checking in First night. 2nd night a man tried to rob us in front of hotel, my husband and I got sick after eating in restaurants recommended by the hotel, spent US$280 for a doctor who came to our room and gave my husband a shot. But staff were polite

The place is with in 10-15 minutes car drive from the main tourist attractions. The location is hard to beat. The hotel is also walking distance to many good places to eat. Reforms is lovely and safe.

Good location, Good price the building is getting old but it is not a big deal

I had read many complaints about this hotel. Many people said that it was in desperate need of a renovation. Before going arrival I was a bit wary of this. We stayed in one of the 'unrenovated' rooms and I found it to be very comfortable. The decor might be 20 or so years old, but it was all very tasteful and in good condition and clean. AND the bed was extremely comfortable. Everyone at the front desk and the bellboys were personable and helpful. And I think we paid less than $100/night. Who can complain about that. And the location can not be beat.

Services quite good the people working there were exceptional. I speak Spanish in addition to English but did not need to use it because everyone just about spoke English. If you want a decent price in the thick of it all, this is the place.

Everything was very good but the internet was a disaster and the tv had no volume i had to contact customer service everyday

Was ok. No extraordinary, not ordinary... Rug can use some cleaning. Magnetic card didn't work last night. Curtains didn't close completely.

Two pleasent days, enjoyed the breakfast, the lobby bar and "Mariachi" music.

Great location with the statue out front and within walking distance of several great restaurants. Area felt very safe. There was a bar inside with live Mariachi bands the night we were there (Saturday).

The hotel was perfect, we stayed there before, and the service is pretty good, how ever i rented a car in cancun and i got the wrong location and avis wnated to charge more money for taxes, so i did not take the car rental, I called the insurance company for my refund and i havent Heard from them. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks Adriana Hart

I use to stay in this hotel because its location in Mexico City can’t be any better. The hotel is clean and nice, but old. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is old and the walls look empty. Definitely, if you are interested in room style and decoration, you’d better look for something else. If you’re looking for a great location, this is your place.

Was in the city taking a class and really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The food options were subpar but the location was great! Should be noted this area is extremely gay friendly and there is a lot of nightlife options. Felt safe!

A little run down but in a great location if you are in Mexico for business in the Centro. Amenities are good, connected to a Starbucks, good breakfast as well.

Definately, the Sheraton Maria Isabel is located in the most beautiful avenue of Mexico; the location can't be better. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It was our first visit to the Mex. City and we are glad that we choose Maria Isabel. The hotel location is right in front of the Reforma ave. and the Angel independent monument, aside from the U.S Embassy. You would get a nice view of either Angel monument(front of hotel) or the monument to the revolution(back of hotel). We are glad that we had a view of the revolution monument because the New Year celebration is held at the Angel monument(might be too noisy for the family). The room was spacious and clean and we had our suitcase opened the whole visit and nothing was stolen or missing (the house keeper actually found one of my daughter's bracelet that fell under the bed while he/she was cleaning). The hotel is convenient to both business stays and vacation getaway. It has all the amenities: pool, gym, spa, individual safe & fridge, wake-up call, complimentary drinks, parking, free 30 minute wifi, starbucks and three different restaurants within the hotel. The Manhattan deli has buffet service and the food was so fresh and tasty! All the staffs were superb and they were always willing to help. The roof top pool is great place to have breakfast coffee or enjoy sunset. Zona Rosa is just across the Reforma ave., Sanborns(convinient store/restaurant) is next to the hotel and the two Turi-bus stops are located in front of the hotel(reforma ave.) to add comfort. If those who wish to try the street food, the best food vendors are located next to Sanborn and behind the hotel. We would highly recommend the Maria Isabel hotel for the visit to Mex. City. We know we would go back again!

I would definetely go back to this hotel. This hotel has been in business for a long long time and you can tell, but its well maintained, clean and the staff is very helpful and respectful. The buffet breakfast is expensive but there are other options all around the hotel. Our room had the wonderful view of the Angel de Independencia! Hope to go back soon.

It is well known that hotels are not super clean, but the appearances make up go any lack of cleanliness. That said, the paint in the room was peeling from the ceiling. I am a male with a military haircut. There were long female hairs on the bed sheet. I have no clue how they got there. The window latch was hanging on by 1 screw. Internet is an extra cost. Roughly 200 pesos per day, or $21 USD. You can pay a taxi via credit card at the airport. You cannot get a taxi from the hotel to the airport without $300 pesos, or roughly $24 USD, in Mexican pesos. They will not assist you, so just have the pesos and no USD or credit cards. The keys demagnetize frequently. It happened to me a few times. No idea as to why, and it just got old. Be prepared to place a $300 USD or $3500 Mexican peso deposit if you want any type of room charges available. Final point : it was dirty, not helpful, falling apart, expensive, and a big waste of money. It was great that the angel of independence and the us embassy was there. I would recommend the raddison hotel that is close by, a 7 minute drive on avenue of the revolution. It was cleaner, free Internet, and actually is faithful to its raddison name and is what you expect.
