The hotel is small & personal, just 35 rooms I believe. Excellent location in Polanco surrounded by a wealth of restaurants, bars & shops. Excellent, very friendly staff eager to please and help you enjoy the city. Couldn't have asked for a better first introduction to Mexico City.

We just returned from an amazing stay at the Las Alcobas hotel in Mexico City. This is a small boutique hotel located in Polanco. This was my fourth stay in the area and first at Las Alcobas and I can't wait to go back! We got upgrade to a beautiful corner suit (I'm a long time SPG Platinum member). We didn't spend much time in the room since there is so much to do in the area, but it was still well designed, very clean and comfortable. The bath has a selection of very nice mexican soaps and then the minibar snacks, soda and water are complimentary. The bed was comfortable and then room had great black out shades. Breakfast was included in our rate and was great! It was a continental (very nice fruit plate with a selection of breads) plus a choice of an entree. The margaritas at the hotel were some of the best that we had in the area! Don't miss these! And service was great as well! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and went out of there way to help! Aaron (head concierge) was very helpful both before out stay and during. He helped us set-up reservations at Pujol and Contramar and then helped us with two different day trips with great guides. Everyone though made sure our stay was going well and helped with suggestions and cars. My only compliant (though minor for my weekend stay) is that the gym is very small - one treadmill, one elliptical and a small set of weights - no bench. This would be a little small for me for more than a weekend, but I realize it is a small hotel. Thanks again!

High end business hotel in the Polanco neighborhood. The building was clean and modern. It was safe walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and nightlife in Polanco. Breakfast was included with FHR and was very good. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

We arrived from London, somewhat jet lagged. Hotel Los Alcobas welcomes you warmly, offers quiet rooms with really comfy beds, great a la carte dining, in the middle of the buzzy and chic Polanco district

Of the premier properties in DF, this one stands out for its unique location directly in the heart of Polanco. Adjacent to the hotel is a tree-lined, winding warren of street cafes, restaurants, & shops. Mexico City luxury life is bustling all around Las Alcobas. The location of the hotel also allows for lovely strolling access to the architecturally-stunning Soumaya and Jumex museums in one direction and the verdant Chapultepec park (and all that it has to offer) in the opposite direction. I booked two deluxe rooms through Starwood. I was delighted to be upgraded to the penthouse-level Suite Masaryk with landscaped balcony. One of only 3 specialty suites located on the penthouse level, the Masaryk spans the front of the building, offering splendid views and a great expansion of the space to include an outdoor segment. The Masaryk is a one bedroom, 1.5 bath suite, but it is not particularly generous in size. Fairly compact, efficient and spare in design. Hotel service was quiet, friendly and efficient and not the least bit obsequious or solicitous. Anatole restaurant serves food throughout the day, and our daily breakfast was well-executed. My travel partner and I were in consensus that the touch-screen lighting and drapery control panel was an antiquated and user "un"friendly device. One could also quibble with the fact that the hotel does not offer a dedicated cocktail lounge. While upscale establishments abound directly adjacent to Las Aclobas to imbibe, it would be preferred to have an in-house lounge, when you simply cannot bear to walk 100 paces to another establishment. This may be the only place to stay in DF! Enjoy.

5 star location, 5 star design, 5 star staff and amenities, but the worst mattress I have ever tried to sleep on. Memory foam that was so soft I could not sleep. If I'd have had a Thermorest pad with me I would have slept on the floor and got a far better night's sleep. I would stay here again like a shot if they change the mattresses BUT no way would I stay here again until then

I travel constantly for business so when I travel for leisure I have high expectations. Las Alcobas ticks all the boxes for me!! Incredible staff who are attentive and will guide you to the best places. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg who are world renowned. Rooms that are well thought out and an incredible spa. Restaurant that has a margarita with sea salt foam that shouldn't be missed. Special shout out to Aaron the head concierge who is one of the best I have come across in my travels!

Arriving at Las Alcobas you know that it's going to be nice. But once you meet the staff, see your room, eat at the restaurant, and utilize Las Alcobas to its full potential you'll never want to stay at another hotel and want to come down to Mexico City as often as possible just to have another great vacation experience. I could write an article about how great everything is but to sum up in a short review I'll just say this, every penny that I spent at this hotel was more than worth it and I would like to thank the entire staff for making Mexico City now one of my favorite cities in the world. We will hopefully being seeing you sooner rather than later.

This hotel has it all going on. From the moment of your arrival, you're treated exceptionally well. From the delicious welcome drink, to the beautiful soaps, to the well appointed rooms, to the wonderful staff, to the complementary treats and soft drinks in the room, this is pure yet understated luxury. It is also loctated in the finest neighborhood in Mexico City with many restaurants, parks, and of course, Ave Presidente Masuryk for strolling and window shopping. What a pleasure to come "home" to each evening, after spending a day in the city visiting the attractions. Thank you everyone at Las Alcobas for a wonderful visit.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in Mexico City. We have been many times, but this experience was over the top. Not only because it was a special occasion, but because we chose to stay at Las Alcobas. Everything was perfection...it started from the moment we first reached out to GM Michael Chiche to secure our room. His attention to us and to our wishes was unparalleled. Because he was not going to be in Mexico City personally during our stay, he connected us with Aaron Caballero, his extraordinary concierge, who handled all our sightseeing and restaurant reservations artfully, including many last minute changes. And he did it all with grace and a smile. And special thanks to Ruben, who checked us in, and then checked on our every need during our stay. The staff are professional, warm, attentive and exceptional. Thank you Ruben, Aaron, Michael and Samuel for making it such a special, pampered visit. We will be back very soon!
