What a fabulous hotel. The location was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful. The bed was super comfortable. We looked forward to the delicious Mexican breakfast every morning (our breakfast was included with our rate). We look forward to coming back in the future.
Very friendly staff. Clean and sophisticated hotel. Great location, near many great restaurants. Nice park nearby. Great area for shopping. Good breakfast items (not included in continental breakfast plan, but worth the extra money). Don't miss their restaurant "Dulce Patria" next door!
Everything from service, the room and the restaurant was wonderful! Would highly recommend.
Mexico City surpassed our expectations with its great vibe and friendly people. We stayed in Polanco at Las Alcobas. Polanco reminded me of Taksim Square in Istanbul and some parts of South Beach - charming, absolutely safe to walk around at any hour, clean, lively, and fashionable. I recommend Mexico City as a travel destination, it is steeped in history, with monuments and great museums (the two we could get to with limited time in hand were the Archeological Museum and Somaya Galleries - both world-class) and great food choices. One day we walked around for ten miles with food, drink and sightseeing stops - unthinkable as before leaving we were apprehensive about the safety of the city. As a hotel, Las Alcobas made our stay very much more pleasurable. The happy and hospitable staff, a great manager who took personal interest in our well-being, our artistically decorated and well-appointed room, the best of locations in the city on a street laced with top shops and eateries, and proximity to a pretty park. A couple of tips... in the city do not board a random cab - that is a no-no - get the hotel (even on the way in from the airport) to book you the cabs. I read the metro is very good and safe but we did not get a chance to use it. Remember the altitude of Mexico City (9000 feet above sea level), so pace your exercise and walks to get used to the rarified air. We did not get a chance to visit the pyramids nearby - did not make it a priority as we have visited pyramids elsewhere in Mexico and Central America (Tikal, Guatemala is the most awesome), but I suggest if you have time to keep it in your itinerary.
My wife and I stayed at Las Alcobas for our first trip to Mexico City. Superb location, amenities, and staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Best of The best, comfortable, great staff, no complaints at All.
This is the highest rated hotel in Mexico City for a reason. It has tremendous staff, smartly designed rooms with extremely comfortable beds, and a great, safe location in Polanco with many restaurants within walking distance. The snacks and soft drinks from the minibar are complimentary too, which is a nice perk.
Great attention, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. It has a great location, you can go out and walk and has great restaurants nearby. It is a small hotel, but I think that because of this the attention is more personalized. Worth the money spend
