Great atention and clean rooms! Loved the Jacuzzi!

I had a wonderful stay at Kali Escandón last week. The attention was perfect—the staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. My room was very nice as well; I really loved the retro vibe, while still being functional and spotless. Everything felt just right and made my stay very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest improving is the Wi-Fi in the rooms, as it wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, not good for WFH

I have stated here couple of times now. Excellent service and attentiveness. Walking distance to Condesa and all the restaurants there. The room AC kept timing out for some reason one night, it was fixed. WiFi Internet is pretty shoddy. will not recommend for WFH, if it wasnt for the WiFi pretty much 5 star

Wonderful Hotel

I rented the presidential suite- Kali suite, for a stopover in Mexico City. The large outdoor terrace, views, large jacuzzi tub were wonderful. The staff were excellent and welcoming. I only ventured out in the neighborhood for a short time and the area is nice and safe. There is a market with restaurants, vendors etc very close by, it was enjoyable. I will stay again next time I am in Mexico City.

Presidential Suite Critique

The room service is impeccable! The staff is awesome. They will go the extra effort.The only two issues I had were the internet and the condition of the towels. I place the internet and towel conditions on the owner. I stayed in the Presidential suite. Beautiful room. Great Bluetooth sounds. For the price I paid I didn't want towels that look like they were being used as cleaning rags. The robes felt like rocks and sandpaper.The suite does have it's own internet connection. However, finding stable internet was a constant problem. I am sure the staff members brought up these issues to the management but were most likely ignored.

The hotel needs a lot of up lifting. The first room I check into, the air conditioning was broken. They tried to check it and found that the compressor was not working. So, they switch me to a different room on the second night. The other room was better, but the phone never worked, and they would never hear me I called down to the front desk for any questions. Plus, the WIFI IN THE HOTEL WAS A NIGHTMARE. For anyone that is in Mexico City for business do not stay at the hotel. Their Wifi NEVER worked.

Wonderful reasonably priced hotel near Condesa

Very nice hotel in area next to Condesa. Good breakfast buffet included, with fresh orange juice and a changing set of freshly prepared dishes. Maid service daily and excellent. Very good value. Quiet rooms in relatively quiet and low traffic residential neighborhood. Spanish knowledge useful but not absolutely necessary. Front desk (24/7) staff all had decent English skills. Would definitely return to Kali Escandon in the future.
