The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. I did find the absence of wall art made the room seem almost sterile. A piece of Mexican culture - painting, print, textle - would have been nice. The area around the hotel was filled with many culinary options within walking distance. Felt safe all the time. Staff was very helpful. Check in was a breeze!

I was double charged by hotel. I told them I was already charged through hotels.com And they charge my credit card again by billing me directly. I will not stay there again. Also they called a taxi for me and told me I could pay the driver with credit card, but this was not true. I was forced to get cash to pay driver.

The staff , from the cleaning lady to the front desk people , always willing to help and make you stay comfortable. The lady who cleaned our room 206 was always on point . Making sure we had all we needed and performed a great job , every time she went in to clean it .

Overall it was a wonderful place. Location was great and within a short walking distance to everything. The staff were friendly and responsive, but most didn’t speak English. There was no noise coming from the street at night but other guests often made lots of noise in the hallway. We left the locker’s door open with all our valuables inside one day and was pleasantly surprised when nothing was stolen upon our return. This is unheard of in Europe or even in America.

This was a cozy and friendly hotel with great service and an amazing breakfast buffet. They cleaned the rooms regularly and the location was central to a lot of great restaurants and sites. I would definitely stay again.

A lovely hotel in a walkable neighborhood, very close to public transportation. Helpful, friendly staff. On-site restaurant is bright, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner,. with very good food. 24-hour front-desk was much appreciated. Hotel Stanza is a true find in Mexico City. Will stay again.

The location is excellent: from where to eat, where to catch an Uber or public transportation, to a 24-hour pharmacy, laundry, and a lovely and safe environment. The staff was very attentive. We had a blast and a lovely stay!
