Conviently located in downtown area staff was very nice and the free breakfast buffet was a huge plus

We travel to Guadalajara to visit some relatives and do some shopping and Hotel Morales is at a very strategic place.

It was a good experience. I had a nice room. The only thing was that For the check out they were kind of rude!

Hotel staff told us we were getting a room with a king bed, like we picked online, actually ended up giving us a room with two twin beds. They took a few minutes to change it. And gave us a room that smelled like smoke, when we were supposed to be in the non-smoking zone. we had to leave the fan on and the window open for hours, but bathroom still had the smell up to the second and last night . Also, sheets were stained and shower had black mildew. Also did not provide us with water in the room. It is cheap but the pretty rooms avertised were definitely not the ones we got. The hotel only renovated about 5 of their 11 floors. Our view was of a concrete wall.

I was there before, wasn't too bad, actually I come back because I like it, my room was on the second floor. But the second time my room was 1st floor, the smell of the room was terrible, dirty, old, and the next room the guest was smoking all night, you can hear everything and smell the smoke of cigarettes, hard bed, and a crocarachon the bathroom .

- Staff was helpful - Breakfast buffet is great - Keys kept getting deactivated - They never had the keys to exchange currency - They will offer you taxi drivers that will charge you 5 times more than a regular taxi

Nice rooms, a/c, internet access, excellent Service

Excellent service, beautiful terrace, a/c, breakfast included

Great experience service was awesome it really excited everything I needed peaceful people were kind very humble Pleasant and down to earth I just definitely loved it I would really recommend it to anybody

I use Fontan for my arrival nite in D.F. for convenience. Not fancy but good service and becoming a destination for travellers who want clean convenient accommodations. Nice breakfast buffet...Sanborn´s a few steps away. Fontan offers no food or drink after 11pm which annoyed me a bit. But they are changing ... new mgrs. maybe. Hey, it´s on Reforma and a walk from historic centre.

I made 2 reservations, for 2 rooms. I showed up and the front desk clerk, without asking nothing, straight up said: we are sold out. No rooms available. And I said: ok, I don't care I have a reservation. She gave me excuses which I didn't care for and I moved on to the other front desk clerk. He was great and had my rooms ready. Because of people like this, business' fail. Shame on her. The bell desk clerk in the morning, super friendly and accommodated every guest. Awesome.

Nice place, staff was nice but overwhelmed. There is a constant line for check in/check out so anytime you need anything from front desk be prepared to wait a while. Overall, great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. Be aware they seem to have only one outlet in the room so plan accordingly.

Good for the money. Near to many historical places, public transportation and cultural sites. Cheap but good! I traveled alone and was a nice stay. The cons: no swimming pool at all, poor gym, too noisy in the first floors. Overall rating...7/10.

On Reforma. Very central for walking and taxis. Not historic center, but I am not a tourist. Pleasant courteous staff. Not fancy. Good bkfst buffet... I am a single mature female and appreciate these amenities.

Hotel was great, nice room, good view, higher floor which meant the hot water took a little time. Buffett Breakfast very good, eggs cooked to order, only thing, food on the hot table was not so hot, slightly warm at best. All in all a good stay. Also had dinner at hotel, excellent steak.

I was in Mexico for business and found this hotel in a good location with a friendly helpful staff who took time with me to explain directions with suggestions where to go and how to get there. I would recommend this hotel as good value for the price. Clean rooms.

Walking distance to main monument. Nice walk to zocalo. Really close. I love it. Going back for more.

I have stayed in Hotel Fontal for 5 times. I love the location, which allows you to be close enough of El centro historico, ZOna Rosa and a block away from the metro. It is very convenient and a great price. I would recommend you ask for a room that does not face Paseo de la Reforma so that street noise does not bother you. I love the breakfast buffet included for the price and the convenience of storing your suitcases if you get to the hotel before 3:00 p.m. I would not have high hopes of quick internet in the room, but if you work in the lobby you will be ok. Great staff and very friendly.
