To durty the carpet and tv old and no control remot.

TRAVELERS: PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. I’m a New Yorker. I’ve travelled throughout Mexico. I visit Mexico City most winters. I expected a decent, low-cost hotel in a semi-sketchy neighborhood. Instead, this is a VERY run-down hotel (I asked for a room change because I couldn’t stomach walking barefoot on the filthy carpets; but my next room was smaller, and worse) — in a rough area — so rough that my taxi drivers were fearful for me. Just say NO.

For the price OK but a bit noisy from other families kids in the mornings and evenings. Location near Zócalo and street food places for eating.
