Although I preferred to have two double beds instead of one king size, the room itself was comfortable and clean. The only issues we had were the room key cards failed constantly and I have to go to the front desk to get them re-charged quite a few times. The internet did not work in the room for the first two days, but was strong in the hall in front of the elevators. After the first two days, the internet worked okay in the room as well. The neighborhood is great with a variety of restaurants within a block or two.

Ok hotel for the price, perfect location. Room was too small for us. No a/c. But for the price and location would rent again.

This Hotel Del Angel is the worst hotel I have ever been, please do not go to this hotel. I really do not know why this one has been listed to Orbitz web site, since Orbitz has always given the best service at all. The room was not clean at the time I arrived, no hot water to take a shower and no curtain shower so all the water splash all over the floor, I had to ask for a safety box that was brought for a staff person and just place it on the shelf, so it wasn’t attached to the wall. This hotel does not have parking garage but I was told to make arrangement with the bell boy after a tip in order to get a chance for a spot if there is one available. If you want to avoid a lot of problems, do not get any reservation to this hotel. At the end I had to cancel my stay in the very first day, Orbitz made arrangement and I got a refund, there was no way to spend any time in this awful hotel.

Its a nice hotel because its close to shopping centers, business district, walking distance to where the Philippine embassy where we had an appointment. The staff are good and courteous but one thing is they supposed to have aircondition in the rooms.

Great Hotel. Nice location. The experience in this hotel is very good. Im very happy with this hotel, and his location. Great.

Most staff was friendly and helpful, however the only waitress in the restaurant spent time on the phone or speaking with other staff even when you were standing there or sitting there. the cook/waiter was much friendlier. NO BUFFET breakfast. it is cereal and fruit and made to order eggs for 95 pesos. nice buffet across the street for 120 pesos. very small room.one small window it would not be comfortable if over 75 degrees outside.

It's a decent hotel with a great location but it is kind of old and could use remodeling, the room was alright just simple nothing fancy nor too bad but I did have issues with the restroom so good luck with that, I wish there was AC but no Mexico has no AC, it's an ok stay for the price n the location, could of picked a better hotel but that was my first time in Mexico

The hotel is in a great location and luckily it is close to many restaurants, the one in the hotel is okay - but I would recommend going out to eat.

Hotel staff very kind, in great location in Zona Rosa.

My friend has stayed here many times and I have stayed here with him once. I found it to be clean, sometimes noisy, a great location for us and a good value for our budget. It is not fancy but if one needs a comfortable place to stay in that area this is a good choice.

I will be traveling every once in a while to mexico city. But this will be the last time I stay in this hotel. Room 902 the bathroom smelled really bad, no internet service... room service was not good at all. Never again I will stay here, the only thing that was good was the location, everything was close by.

good value for rate. excellent location and safe.friendly staff. across street from top Sanborns restaurant. would book again at these rates.

The best feature is the location in the city - blocks from the Independence angel and the U.S. Embassy. There are many very good restaurants on the street (Rio Lerma) - the best being Don Asado. The rooms are OK, but run down. The hotel needs to improve its internet service and ensure that the connection is secure. The staff is great - trying to please. The restaurant is OK, but only 2 stars at best. The hotel is described as close to the Zona Rosa, but beware those who do not know the city as that area is no longer upscale for tourists - simply a disgrace and very dangerous after dark.

This hotel is great as there are many restuarants within 5 minute walking distance. Sushi, Argentina, Italian. Great internet access too, worked well in our room. The room is comfy and is great for a few nights stay.

First time in Mexico City but we had a wonderfull time becouse teh Hotel is in the center of Mexico City near to the Zona Rosa and easy to get around. Stuff was friendly and the room was good for the prize. I was very happy with the Location to me its number 1

This hotel is perfect if you are traveling on a budget. Rooms need updating, bathroom smells muskey, but maids do clean daily. Be sure to shake clothes out before leaving, hotel seems to have a roach problem. If you seek luxury this is not the place to stay at..once again expectations for this hotel should just be basic and nothing over the top.

Good location and the basic hotel for very good and very low price.Nice persons but THE INTERNET AT THE ROOM WAS FAILING EVERY DAY.

The rooms were nothing like the pictures. There were a million roaches! DISGUSTING! The staff was creepy and always asked about our whereabouts. They recommended a taxi for us that was a fake and billed us 600 pesos for what should have been 200!!! Money was stolen out of our vault. The hotel staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Overpriced for such ugly TINY rooms!

1. After reaching at Airport , I called this hotel no and i was asked to hold the call and I was waiting for 10 mins. SO I hanged up the call and called again and 2-3 times they didnt pick the call. 2.Staff right from bell boy to reception is quite rude. 3.Still have 10-15 yrs old TVs in the room and remote doesnt work. 4.No AC in the room and bed matress springs makes noise, uncleaned. 5.They have restarunt but hardly you will see any customer over there. Just spend few more $$ and take a much better room at nerby Cityexpress hotel which far bettre than De angel.

We enjoyed our stay at Del Angel Hotel, the noise from trafic going by on Paseo de la Reforma was not a deterrent for a restful night. Any time in the future, we will be glad to expend couple nights at this hotel

Rio Lerma No 154 Col Cuauhtemoc Mexico City DF
