Come on, who goes to Mexico City to stay in their room! Hotel Amigo Zocalo is 200m from the Zocalo. The rooms are on the small side but spotless. The staff are stars - our thanks to Angelica for arranging a flight change. We also loved the kitchen team’s habit of serving breakfast with big smiles and an 80s sound track. The hotel is very popular with Mexican guests, which says a lot. A great base for exploring Mexico City

this Hotel was part of a package with airline. Enjoyed that it was close to everything and was able to walk to all popular destinations. Bella’s Artes, and many more! Awesome stay and do t forget to go to restaurant!

Although the hotel moved us after two nights the room they gave us was not acceptable for anyone to stay in. We have traveled in Mexico many times (including once to this same hotel) and understand the differences from travel in Can. and US but this was disgusting little room with no window/no tv/it smelled like the sewer was in the room and no wifi. the location can't be beat for the price but I would not accept a room on the bottom floor.

I stayed 4 nights and was very pleased with the room and service. Considering the very central location and the standard of the rooms it was well worth the money. The breakfast was not an extensive hotel breakfast, on the other hand the terrasse it was on was very nice. Very friendly staff

A horrible place, room stinks, and no toilet seat. All they can say is sorry sir, we did not know. Breakfast was not ready when they said, had to wait almost 30 minutes for it and was not worth even eating. And internet does not work in rooms and barely would work at front desk

this place is very basic as the others say but the staff and location make up for it. it is really ONLY A 2 STAR property but we give it 4 because the staff first of all are 100% and were very helpful for first timers to the city. second reason is the location, it's 1.5 blocks from Zocalo square and 3 subway stops. tip do not get on the front facing rooms. it gets very loud as there is a street market in the pedestrian only closed street in front of hotel yes we do recommend yes we will stay again

If you are a complete budget traveler, this place is pretty decent. Pricing is affordable, however please note their is no ac or fan im the room. My stay was in April so it wasn't too hot but it can definitely be warm. They provide a free breakfast which provided some basics cereal, hot potatoes & fruit. It's an older building and the bed is a bit rough but front desk is great at helping with yours and directions.

Great staff! Wonderful and welcoming. Great ideas for dinner. The room was small but had everything we needed. Plus fresh orange juice delivered to our room, and breakfast because we were leaving early. Wonderful stay!

This hotel was centrally located. Staff was courteous and helpful. It was a plus to have two restaurants at the hotel. But the TV fare was very disappointment. The only English-language news channel was Fox News. Why not CNN? Why not MSNBC?

We spent three nights in this hotel just before the New Year, it is located in a very extraordinary space! So if you are searching for a funny full of music, urban noise, hundreds of tourists, regular striking of a clock, you are always welcome! It is situated in the heart of Centro Historico, so you only need to open the balcony door to dive into the atmosphere! Breakfast included and the area for this is on the terace on the 4th floor! The receptionists are quite polite and friendly, smiling and always ready to help! Special thank you to German Gonzales for the New Year personal congratulation and for his kindness With the warmest wishes from Russia. Monty♡Nata
