Excellent service. We feel at home. All employees very helpful, friendly and kind. The food very delicious. The hotel is very clean. We arrived in the early morning and everything was ready for our stay and they were very courteous in even offering us warm milk for our children. If we went to Mexico City again we would definitely stay in the same place again.

Our stay was very pleasant. This hotel is located in a very convenient location of Mexico City, and it is a very walkable area. Our room was clean and big enough for two people, the balcony was okay, but we expected something bigger. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ulises and Alberto. The breakfast was delicious, and the servers were friendly. The café was open 24/7, which is nice, but the staff at the café seemed to always be in a bad mood. It definitely did not match the friendliness of the rest of the staff. Overall, we loved the hotel, staff, and location. We will definitely come back in the future.
The staff is lovely, so is the hotel. They arranged for transportation from and back to the airport, to events, and assisted us getting in getting tickets for a show we were interested in seeing. Breakfast service seemed a little overwhelming for them 2 of the 3 days we were there, but otherwise everything was excellent.

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to tell you about our experience with the Hotel Historico Central. We went for Día de Los Muertos week in Mexico City. Hotel Histórico was the most welcoming, accommodating, and nice pleasant hotel I’ve ever experienced. No exaggeration, Andrea and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were at their home. Cafe open 24 hours with free coffee, hot sandwiches and salads, and BEER, was very convenient and appreciated. Personal touches with room service, extra mile service with the free breakfasts in the morning. Staff was available at any and all times to answer questions about the local business, best ways to get around, make restaurant reservations, get us unplanned tours. I will never go to Mexico City again and not stay there. They won our hearts for sure.
this is my favorite hotel in mexico city. I have been coming here for many trips, I never consider going to any other hotel. Some of the staff even remember me and my family

Outstanding service
This is a very nice hotel located right in between two of the main tourist attractions in CDMX. It was super easy to walk to these sights and also find good restaurants near by. The beds are comfortable and the housekeeping does a great job of maintaining the rooms. It was also great to have these super filling breakfasts every morning included. It made starting the day on a full stomach very easy. There is a 24/7 snack bar which I used occasionally. Using the bar can be confusing because you are told that everything on the menu is included with the room, but if you ask for beer or wine (which is on the menu) you are told that it costs extra. It also doesn’t help that all of the items on the menu have prices associated with them. The lighting in the room could have been more inviting. They use these cold LED bulbs which might make the rooms look good in the photos, but not so great when you are spending a decent amount of time in the room. One surprising thing to know about the room is that there is no iron nor ironing board. So be sure to bring your travel stream wrinkle remover or be prepared to pay the hotel to iron things for you. Lastly, I got the sense that the hotel tended to engineer things in order to extract more tips from guests. I didn’t like this aspect given that this isn’t considered a cheap hotel in CDMX.

The Hotel was safe and in a good walking area. The staff was excellent and easy to understand. The unlimited water, sandwiches and soups at the Cafe were a plus. The breakfast was top notch and authentic. Roberto and Augusto were excellent servers. Beds and rooms were very comfortable.
