Great location, walking distance from restaurants and main attractions. Room was small ( deceiving pictures ) AC was not working and took 24 hrs before we got a "cooler". Requested ice and they didnt have enough ice. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

I liked everything about the hotel except that there was noisy building work across the street 8am-6pm. This was true in just about every place i stayed in Mexico, but Hippodorme was the last straw. I got a plane flight out after a few hours. Also: There was an electronic hum under the floors that rose through the bed. VERY annoying. No one in hotel management ever seems to notice these problems. They made me crazy.

Great front desk and warm invite and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are very small. Sheets and pillows are not comfortable. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel based on the bed and loud rooms.

Great old Deco building in a quiet and green neighborhood in walking distance to the best of Condesa and Roma Norte. Terrific staff. Our room with the terrace was definitely worth the upgrade. Continental breakfast is basic for sure, but the staff's willingness to bring it up to your room means you can lounge about a little in the morning.

Liked location on the edge of Parque Mexico and near cafes on Avenida Amsterdam, small size and service.

Nice beds, great service. Staff was helpful and friendly, great neighborhood

Excellent. Hotel manager went above and beyond.

Hippodrome is a dream. Simple comfort and luxury found just steps away from some of the best shops, cafes and sights of La Condesa. The hotel staff is top notch and the decor is sumptuous and elegant. This is a newly remodeled hotel and everything was just dreamy. The bed was super comfortable. I had an inside room that really cut down on the noise from the street, which I would always recommend no matter where you stay in Condesa. The little cafe was perfect for a simple breakfast before the day starts. And the hotel is right across the street from Sports World if you want to get in a good workout and take in the local "eye candy" of Mexico City.

This is a 4.5 star hotel, it's a solid spot with a great staff. If you want an amazing, unique and memorable experience in Mexico City then I couldn't recommend it enough. The location on the park, surrounded by Av. Amsterdam is truly wonderful.
