It's a wonderful property with a great location but unfortunately, they gave us a room on a floor where they were renovating rooms around us. Banging from 8am to 8pm and losing power a few times we requested a room change but they said there were no rooms available. The following day they used glue and the fumes entered our room. My asthma went wild and we insisted on a room change which we got. This Hotel should never have had guests on this floor in this wing of the Hotel during renovations. For this reason only I give the Hotel a poor review but please understand, it would have otherwise been excellent!

We loved Geneve de la Ciudad! The hotel is full of charm, the staff friendly and attentive, the downstairs bar with live music elegant and old world, and the location superb. I will gladly stay here again if I get a chance to return to Mexico City and will definitely recommend it to friends. Another plus: 20 minutes from airport.

The service of the staff is amaizing! Everyone was always kind to us

Historic hotel and museum. Very pretty, restaurants and shpingng on site, nice area, great staff. I have problems with my shower, tub nozzle leaks a lot of water, so there is little for the shower and lots of water waste. On the last morning the water from the shower came out black and muddy. After a few minutes ruining it was clear again. Very close to shipping, the independence monument, reforma street and the legendary vegetarian restaurant Yug. We will stay here again.

Loved the location and the history of the hotel. The area felt safe and it was well situated.

It was a great historical hotel. Great location. The interior was basically a small museum.

That hotel was a museum. It is over 100 years old and had been kept in a great condition. Every room was just beautiful. Room were confortable and staff very nice. There it's a lot of restaurants and shops around a walking distance. A few blocks from El Angel de la Independencia in Reforma Avenue. We had a great time at the hotel.

Friendly staff and comfortable, quiet and clean rooms in the heart of Zona Rosa. 24 hour room service. Walking distance to several tourist attractions, Zoo, Chapultapec Castle, and Anthropology Museum. We'll stay here again when we return.

All good. Great location and very nice staff. Hotel is clean.

Very clean hotel. The staff was always attentive and friendly.

Great place! Great location, service and so much history that you'll feel you're staying at a museum. Loved it.

This is an older hotel, the walls are thin, you hear every door open and close. There was also a lot of street noise.

Everyone was so nice and professional we were made to feel at home. The Concierge was especially helpful to us as we forgot a bag full of souvenirs on board of one of the hotel recommended guided tours and he orchestrated the retrieval for us. Bag was deliver the fallowing morning. Excellent!

Very kind people, good food and great historical hotel

Good location, easy to find transportation by taxi, metro or bus. Historical hotel. Good restaurants are close by.

Great hotel in the center of some really great restaurants, bars and clubs. I stay here whenever i’m in Mexico City.
