This is a classic business hotel. The rooms are very spacious, with a great work desk, comfortable bed, coffee maker (could be capsuled coffee, like Nespresso). There is a few details to check in the bathroom (like a few slime in the corners). The breakfast was very complete, with a nice variety and a very friendly service (just like the others areas of the hotel, like front desk). I was surprised with the agility of the laundry service, they return my clothes on the same day without extra cost. The hotel is located close to various restaurants and some malls, but keep in mind that is a commercial area (what is good for a business hotel). But you can take a Uber for some tourist points without expend many pesos.
We decided to give it a try given the tripadvisor reviews. First time in a Fiesta Inn. Upon arrival, having requested a quiet room, we were given probably the worst room in the hotel, in the first floor, next to an engine, very loud and everything at the room vibrated with that engine. We complained and were sent up to another room, same space, but no noise. The space is not bad but I don't understand why they put people in the worst rooms, especially when you ask for a quiet room. Fiesta Inn gave me the worse first impression possible. Don't want to find out if it was a mistake or their usual policy. The Argentinian restaurant outside, next to the hotel's restaurant is very good. That one I can easily recommend.
I travel to Mexico City quite often for business, and I've stayed in a couple of other hotels, but this hotel is the best one I've stayed in so far. As a female traveling alone, safety and comfort are very important to me. The area which this hotel is located is very central to a lot of businesses, and the room and furniture are very modern and clean. I like things simple so this was a perfect place to be.
This hotel is situated near where we do business in Mexico City It is very clean, secure and professional, but it is not fancy. It is efficient! Great breakfast selections, quiet rooms, good WIFI and friendly, professional staff. Located near a main drag so transportation is not problem and it surrounded by eating and drinking avenues.
I stayed here earlier in the year and liked it. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet is very good and overall I liked it. However, in December it is COLD ! They only put the heating on at about 5pm and so prior to that it is cold ( I had to go to bed to avoid getting sick ). I will consider again but for my next visit I will try somewhere else as I can’t be cold like that !
The aircondition is not able to adjust individually, so most of the time the room is too cold with 64 F (18,5°C). Only in a short time in the morning the aircon goes up to 74 F (22,5°C). EIther too cold or too warm.
The two star is merely for the cleanness of the room upon our arrival. We reserved two rooms, but we got the second room after more than two hours waiting because it was not ready at the moment. We were supposed to be contacted when it was ready, however the front desk forgot to inform us until we asked them again if our room was ready. In the first morning, They woke us up three times around 7 am with unwanted phone calls. The restaurant was absolute mess and the waiters/waitresses looked inexperienced and unprofessional. In general, I think lack of appropriate and professional management is what the hotel needs to resolve.
The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The wifi worked well. The restaurant area was comfortable and had a nice outdoor seating area. The food was great, too. I recommend the grilled salmon with vegetables or the pepito de arranchera (flank steak on a baguette with a little bit of guacamole and refried beans, served with fries.) I was there for business and would be very happy to stay there again.
Our company put us up here for the afternoon of the earthquake, until we could get to our own hotel. The front desk personnel were very courteous. We shared room 511, which had two beds along with a single sink vanity with a tiny water closet but a fairly large walk-in shower. The room had the faux wood laminate floor rather than the usual carpet.
I was in room 218 which looked out over a quiet pedestrian alley and across to a shopping mall. It was far down the hall from the elevator so it was quiet. Turning the fan on (default is off) generated good white noise, so I slept well. The hallways have grey carpet and tiny lights, so it is too dark for my taste. The gymnasium is bare bones: 2 treadmills, 2 recumbent bikes, an old weight machine and dumb bells. It also was dimly lit. I had a large room with a comfortable bed. The floors are plastic tiles so noise could be an issue. Breakfast was excellent: good selection of Mexican dishes and standards like breads, yogurts, eggs (an omelettes bar), French toast, etc. The service was excellent.
