I can honestly say i loved enerything. From the start everyone treats you like family. Most welcoming place, staff, food was out of this world, views from room and from bathroom were breathtaking. Requested a dinner alone with a view and they did everything to help me plan a perfect night with roses and Prosecco in the room aswell. I send my regards to Paolo and especially Laura - who was lovely and her fun charismatic personality made us glad we met and look forward to see again. Just Perfect ❤️

After a long journey culminating in the tense drive up through the streets of Taormina, this was a perfect place to reach. The communal areas and views were fabulous but what stood out was the welcome from the staff and their friendly and hard work throughout our stay did more than anything to make this a stand-out experience. Honestly, nothing was too much trouble and this attitude ran seamlessly from the management right down to all the waiters, porters and room maids etc. The rooms were lovely and spotless and the food was delicious. The hotel is, not unsurprisingly, quite expensive but we felt we had had good value for money - the only thing wrong was that we had to leave!

After a hairy drive up the tortuous twisting road we had the most marvellous welcome, within a few minutes the car was parked (by Toni) and we were sat on the terrace enjoying a drink and the magnificent view. From this point on our stay got better. The staff were soon friends , and nothing was too much trouble. The food is fabulous and the service immaculate. One evening we asked if we could have some fish and the Chef Londi handled our supper with personal attention and produced a wonderful meal. Our only disappointment was having to leave. We will be back.

What can I say other than Wow Wow Wow... We stayed here on our Honeymoon and we couldn't have been in a better place. The hotel is jaw-dropping - the rooms are impeccable with that luxury finish. Every day we returned to a spotless room. The food is to die for - we never missed breakfast - 1. Fresh, local produce every day and 2. What else could you ask for? enjoying breakfast with such a breathtaking view of Taormina and Mt. Etna. Dinner was delicious also. The service is outstanding, everyone has a smile and is always happy to help - they go out of their way to help no matter what you ask. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Our stay could not have been more enjoyable The facility is wonderful, the view outstanding and the the staff is warm, friendly and very professional. Breakfast was very nice and substantial with many delicious choices . Our room was very large, clean and comfortable.

Villa Ducale was a beautiful resort. Amazing views of the shoreline, sea, and Mt. Etna from high up on the mountain. Impeccable service... the staff was always pleasant and attentive to every detail and request. Excellent restaurant, and very convenient shuttle service to Taormina town center and the beaches. Espresso maker in room! Highly recommend this place and hope to visit again!

A jewel box high above the busy tourist streets of Taormina, Signora Quartucci and her lovely staff deliver exquisite 5 star service in a small boutique hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed with an unparalleled view of the sea and Mt Etna. Breakfasts are a wonderful feast and both lunch and dinner were delightful and delicious as well. The day at the beach that the hotel arranged at La Caravelle was a highlight of our trip to Sicily. Staying at the Hotel Villa Ducale is an unforgettable experience that has given us the gift of glorious memories for many many years to come.

The days at Villa Ducale were really wonderful, a beautiful location, stunning site, great meals and an absolute perfect service! We really enjoyed our stay and our next stay in Sicily will definitely be again in Villa Ducale!

Hotel Villa Ducale is in the most gorgeous setting at the top of the hill in Taormina. The food was outstanding. Do not do what we did and decide to eat out one night in the restaurant next door, the food was hideous compared to the food at Villa Ducale. The chef came out in person and taught me learn how to make Arancini. The rooms were very nice. The view is obviously the selling point and the fact it's so quiet, you are away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. They provide a mini bus to get you into the town and back again but it's not so regular. The steps up and down are a good workout! The only thing this hotel is missing is a swimming pool, surely you can squeeze one in somewhere?? The manager was very helpful to my husband who was hiring a bike and suggested some good routes.

My wife and I spent four awesome days at this absolutely perfect hotel. I hesitate to call it a hotel, because it felt more like visiting my family. The location, the food, the rooms, the service, the views was a 10 out of 10. It was our plan to stay a week, but unfortunately, the G7 summit put a big-time wrench into our plans, and our entire itinerary had to be changed, and almost lost the opportunity to stay here, but Paolo, the Manager, step in and saved the day!!! He also gave us a free upgrade, because of the inconvenience the G7 caused us. The service from his staff was exceptional, from breakfast service, housekeeping, front desk, wait staff, and even the driver of the free shuttle van. One example of this extraordinary service, was when my wife was inquiring about checking out in the morning, after we just came back from dinner in town (11pm), and just in conversation with the young lady at the front desk, my wife mentioned that she unfortunately, didn’t get a change to try their Cannoli’s, and the desk clerk responded; I will leave a note for the chef, so he has it first thing in the morning. That morning at breakfast, we had cannoli waiting for us. There is a reason why they’re rated # 1 on T.A Anyway, I’d highly suggest booking this hotel ASAP! No reason to search around, just book it!
