This is a great hidden gem on the ICW with loads of privacy. Easy access to the beaches or not to far from a day at the Kennedy Space Museum. The hosts were very communicable and quick response times for any questions. The house overall was perfect, clean and equipped nicely....as advertised. The information packet provided was extremely detailed and answers any questions you may have relating to the house operations. Included are directions on getting around, areas to visit or just things to do in general. I would highly recommend this location for a nice private getaway. And, many thanks to the lovely hosts.

This property was an absolute dream to stay at. We were coming to FL for a Disney vacation but decided to head down a few days earlier to rest before the theme parks. Man, I am SO glad we did.Bruce was an excellent host, communication was to notch, and the house was stocked with everything you could need. There was plenty of room for the six of us, with my father staying in the upstairs area and my family of five downstairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable and my oldest daughter was so excited to use the inflatable air mattress.By far, our favorite thing was spending the days in the pool, hot tub, and fishing from the dock. The property was located near any amenity you could want, but we never ventured out of the house. We were enjoying it too much. One last thing I must note that I really appreciated as a mom with younger kids was the measures the host took to ensure safety of children. There is a safety gate near the pool, a baby gate for the stairs, and a few other baby proofing items available for use. This provided me with peace of mind.We hope to return in the future and stay longer. Book this property, you will not be disappointed.

Paradise

Immaculately clean. Property owner provided paper products and kitchen staples. Information booklet left all questions answered. High quality pool table and other furnishings. The infinity pool was spectacular.
Sunsets were incredible.
Early evening in the pool was the best. Beautiful skies and a great way to cool down.
The sky was ever changing.
Another great sunset across the Osprey's perch. The bird was quite vocal and fun to watch.

Gorgeous house, but aching backs

Overall we had a wonderful time. This is a fantastic place for a family to gather and enjoy each other and Florida. There are many amenities and the view is lovely. There was an osprey nest just feet away from the back deck that provided endless entertainment. Only dislike were the mattresses in the non-master bedrooms. They are soft/old and have pits where people slept for years and are not supportive. The fourth “bed” is actually an air mattress and not comfortable for anyone but a kid.

Great Property w/ Resort Like Feel

Beautiful property, location, and setting. Stunning sunsets too. While the area offers a lot to see and do you can avoid all the crowds at the tourist attractions and just relax at this resort-like property. The house has great pool and hot tub, outdoor space, and access to the Indian River for water activities.Westward facing so daily stunning sunsets. In addition to great outdoor amenities, the property offers may indoor ones too. Magnificent home theatre, pool table, game/poker table, and bug variety of games and puzzles. This property is great for family vacation, reunions guys/gals/couples’ weekend. Also. owner stocks the house with generous amount of the necessary supplies (TP. paper towels, detergent, laundry supplies, etc.) that you may not need to buy those items depending on how long your stay is but certainly wait before you buy or bring those items as may not be needed.I highly recommend this property if you are going to the Space Coast.

Fantastic

We loved the house and the property, esp the pool area. Watching dolphins from the pool was a highlight. The theater room was great for nightly movies. The owner even let us know where on the property was the best place to watch the rocket launches

10 Days on Merritt Island

We had another amazing stay at our favorite FL property. The home is immaculate and more beautiful in person. It is fully equipped with everything you need and more. The pool and spa are exquisite and incredibly relaxing. We absolutely love the view, whether in the pool or on the balcony drinking coffee, it’s gorgeous any time of day. We had daily dolphins visits and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Bruce is the best host you can ask for, proactive and responsive and we appreciate him so much. Hope to be there again next year!

Beautiful trip

This house was amazing! We loved everything about it. Bruce was available any time to answer any questions that we had. We saw dolphins swim past the dock daily and even one night saw manatees. The birds that fly by the property are absolutely beautiful. You could also fish right from the dock. This house is close to many restaurants and activities. There is a lot of fun things to do close by. Just a short drive over to Cocoa Beach to enjoy the beach, mini golf ,great restaurants and shops. We visited the Kennedy Space Center, the Bravard Zoo and my husband and son got a fishing charter near by. This was a fantastic vacation.

Spacious luxury on the water

We had a great time. It would be great for larger parties. Nice Pool and hot tub facing the water. Enjoy the panoramic view of fire works going off on the mainland. We could see 1000's of them.

Great find!

We loved staying in this home. We got to see the launch right in the backyard and watched the hawks each day at their nests. The home was huge, beautiful, and clean. The owners are very kind and go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable.

Very good.

Place was immaculate. Excellent location. Was disappointed at no tv in 3rd bedroom. Also the electronics were a bit difficult for 70 plus year old schoolers to navigate. Overall had an enjoyable week.

Merritt Island Gem

The home is elegant. It faces the river/mainland with water views from every room. It's a split-level featuring a dramatic entry leading up to the living/dininig areas and down to a fully-equipped party room with two of the three bedrooms and massive projection TV. Out back is an inground pool, tanning beds and a private boat dock (rented separately). The home is beautifully furnished but (in my opinion) isn't set up to accomodate small children or rowdy teenagers. There's a instruction booklet for the appliances, etc. The host/owner is responsive to questions,

Fantastic House!

Bruce was great to work with and was quick to answer any questions. The house is immaculate and very roomy. The house being a "smart home" made it easy. We had fun movie nights each night in the game room. It's a beautiful view from the pool overlooking the lagoon. It's also nice that the pool has a hot tub on one end. We managed to spot a few dolphins while we were there! Overall I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a low-key and luxurious getaway!

Fabulous

My husband & I had a wonderful time here. The house is perfect! It’s very well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. We really enjoyed seeing dolphins from the patio, watching hawks build a nest, and just reconnecting to nature. Bruce is an excellent host! Fabulous view

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights and had two other couples stay with us for 3 nights. The space is great. We used the pool/spa area, watched a movie on the huge screen, played games on the game table and thoroughly enjoyed all the property had to offer. Watching the rocket launches and the baby hawk being fed by the parents were other fun experiences. The owner was helpful with a few of our questions with quick replies. We had a wonderful time.

Elegan waterfront hideaway

Beautiful house. Amazing view where we could watch the dolphins in the back yard. Wonderful pool where you can swim, enjoy the ocean view and then hop into the connecting hot tub. It was a well supplied house with amenities above and beyond what I would normally expect. This was a fairytale getaway. However, I would not recommend bringing small children. There was beautiful art, wood side tables, a nice pool table and a lovely piano. An active child could cost a person a lot to replace the expensive pieces.

Superb

Where to start?! This was by far one of our best vrbo stays.The owner was super attentive and easily accessible from the onset. He went beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and well cared for. The beds are super comfortable!!! The location--- wow--the views are so spectacular. Sunset was my favorite time of day. The home is well stocked with cookware and towels and linens. We mostly enjoyed the hot tub and the pool, day and night and loved being able to fish some from the dock. We even got to see manatees and a pod of porpoises up close, which thrilled the kids. To cap it off we were able to see the Starlink Rocket launches from Cape Canerveral and the satellites floating by. We are so grateful for this stay and it was just over top luxury all together. Tip: Read the instructions. I hadnt printed them out ahead of time, and wish I had. The house has top of line appliances tvs etc and you'll consult those instructions often. It was such a great trip. We would love to go back in the future.
