Nice and a quiet hotel with an excellent restaurant with Italian and international food. Free wifi. Friendly staff. A very nice bar. Room is clean. Outside you find some rabbits and goats free running. There is a pool outside and a gym and free mountain bikes.
Great business hotel set in small town with some great views Rooms very clean with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities Il Corazziere restaurant fabulous wth the best T-bone you will ever taste Good value Spa and pool facilities to expensive Overall first class
A secluded courtyard, in the bend of a river the location of the Corazziere looks too good to be true, the reality is a hotel of two parts and one which fails to live up the promise. The hotel has two parts a refurbished main building and the new side of the hotel which has seen better days. The reception area is bright and aired, faux marble floors, light colours and reasonably smart staff, once checked in across the courtyard is the other part, it's dark, access controlled by a key card door, the lobby crowded and dark, off the lobby is a gym used by locals rather than guests and no interest in the person whose staying, the rooms dull browns and plastic shower compartments with bottle on the wall toiletries. The staff were friendly but inattentive, coming from back offices to the reception desk or wondering around the breakfast room without doing much. Maintenance outside seemed to be in full swing by 8am. Those staying were more traveling tradesmen rather than businessmen and holiday makers. Coupled with a smattering of mosquito bites overnight the Corazziere can remain secluded from further trips
I stayed here during a recent business trip. A very pleasant hotel on the site of an old mill (the waterwheels are still working). The rooms are small and the beds a bit hard but overall I really enjoyed my stay. A good breakfast buffet is included and they have a nice bar to relax in the evening. A river runs through the property and there are rabbits all over. If you decide to use the walking paths you can go up through the farms and woods behind the hotel - very peaceful.
A very nice country side peaceful place with a friendly staff. One can drive a bike over the park and enjoy the view. The entrance to the reception is through a big yard close with a metal gatd closed during the night.
Very nice location. Good service and a perfect breakfast buffet. Adjacent restaurant, same owner is very good indeed. Room are nicely decorated too. Love the open space rain shower in the bathroom. Very recommendable for business and private travellers.
We had three days’ intense work in the northern Milan area and wanted somewhere to escape from the pressures. Il Corazziere really was perfect. Our meetings were scattered over the area so it was worth the trouble of driving out to Hotel Il Corazziere. The hotel bills itself as a rural idyll and this is a very fair description because this area of Italy is seriously built up and urbanised. The site was once a large farm and mill and is very spacious and relaxed. There is plenty of parking and the hotel access is large and welcoming. The reception staff were charming – professional and efficient but still human and welcoming, unlike the chain hotels. Our room was spacious and elegant with a large bed and gracious bathroom. It was immaculate. The air conditioning wasn’t brilliant and so we slept with the French windows open which was a lovely experience since the mill stream ran beneath our room and the tame ducks and goats paddled about in the paddock opposite: all very lovely! This would be a lovely experience in high summer but there needs to be a fly screen on the windows so that you don’t become haute cuisine for the mozzies! Breakfasts were included in our deal and they were outstandingly good compared with the normal mass produced, cost sensitive fare which is now the standard in Europe. There was a really wide range and choice, with smiling staff and a spectacular dining room. The hotel’s restaurant is a short, and pleasant, two minute walk through the grounds and across the bridge. It is absolutely first class, and very good value, but bear in mind that it is closed on Tuesdays which is a nuisance. We had a pizza in the next town and were ripped off badly being perceived to be tourists.
fantastic hotel, fine facilities along with a superb restaurant and bar. I stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the river and could not fault it. the breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
My favorite hotel during my Italy trip!!! The staff are there to really take care of you and I love staying here! Looking forward to my next visit. The setting is beautiful as well, with a lovely place to walk or run in the morning. They set aside a lovely breakfast for my colleague and I as we missed the breakfast hours. Highly recommend this hotel!!
