We had a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for our large family. Multiple fire places. Fantastic maintenance team that took care of any need including salting the driveway and walk areas. Hot tub is very large and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Unique Stays was promptly responsive to various concerns we had. The house is incredible! There were plenty of rooms for our family of 11. It was fun to have a pool table, multiple fire places, lots of room for our four grandchildren to play and more. The large table in the dining area was big enough that we could all sit together for meals. There were several nearby playgrounds to which we could take our grandkids. We found a good church 20 minutes away in Ft. Payne. And there were lots of beautiful areas to hike. The views from the house and the in-ground hot tub were especially enjoyable with the cold weather. All in all, we had a grand time. We’re thankful to God for the blessing of staying in this great place.

The bunkbeds were unable to be utilized because they are in need of repair. They are unstable and wobbly. Neither Ice Maker operated and the fridge filter needed to be changed causing an alarm to sound consistently. The trash bins were full, and we had to haul off our garbage upon departure. The twin trundle beds are in need of repair, so it resulted in our guests sleeping on the mattress on the floor since the bunkbeds were also not usable. The home was clean and had great amenities and charm, but I feel that some attention should be put placed on some of the sleeping arrangements so that the space may accommodate the number of guests it advertises. There were water spots on the hall bath ceiling from old water leaks that have not been repaired and the 2nd bedroom on first level had some water stains on the rug. There was also a piece of wood missing from that room's window seal. The back door to the patio didn't secure and a stray dog was able to force himself into the space, even though the back door was in the locked position. Overall, the stay was pleasing but some attention to a good inspection of the items mentioned would make this property more enjoyable.
