Beautiful hotel with wonderful views of Mendoza and the Andes

It was a nice hotel in a good location. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with everything we needed. They had a great breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again.

The hotel and staff were great. Downside: the restaurant was closed the entire time we stayed there, was not mentioned at check in until I called asking for a room service menu. Also they advertise a gym, but it remained locked for our 3 nights there. The restaurant not being available was particularly tough since everything was closed in town on Dec. 24-25 and we had counted on our hotel having the restaurant they advertised. If you don’t need a restaurant or a gym than the hotel would be a good spot!

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff was very helpful about arranging wine tours and dinner reservations upon request. The room was very nice, the bed is on the firmer side for those that prefer a firm mattress. I would certainly stay here again as the staff is friendly, the pool and fitness room are adequate, and the location is excellent. Great value and location to experience Mendoza.

The cost/benefit ratio at the Amerian was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet met expectations, and the rooftop pool (albeit very small) was a nice place to cool off and enjoy the view. Located directly and the Plaza d'italia, close to many good restaurant and nightlife options, nice walk or jog to the San Martin Park.

Overall the hotel was good, we had nice large room. The only complaint was that the bathroom had a smell of sewer gas, so we had to open windows after being out all day. Seems there are drain grates in the floor and maybe code in Argentina allows venting to the room rather than the roof? I say this because our Iguazu hotel had exactly the same issue.

From the check-in to the departure, I couldn't imagine a better location, value, or stay. The staff was bilingual and ready to help. First time in Mendoza; only stayed 1 night and if I knew how nice it was, I would have stayed the other 2 days, instead of the property of a winery. Well done!

Very good hotel---helpful prefessional staff. Decent sized room with king-bed and a GREAT shower. Easy walk to restaurants. Decent breakfast. Had small dinner in restaurant one night and it was fine with good service. We would stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful - clean, comfortable and spacious rooms at a great price. The breakfast buffet was the best on our trip. The hotel was in walking distance from Plaza Independencia and only a few blocks from a street filled with cute, little bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in downtown Mendoza.

The location is great; about 10 minutes walk to lots of restaurants and shops. It is about 20 minute drive to the wineries. The hotel staff spoke really good English. It was much nicer than we imagined in the rooms; we had a suite with a living room and huge bathroom. Also be aware that even though I thought I was being charged on [...] when I booked, there is some kind of rule in Argentina that doesn't allow this, so I don't think [...] ever charged me and I was charged when I left the hotel.Overall an excellent buy, way better than spending three times the cost and staying at Hyatt.

In MDZ on business. The rooms were great suites. The service was five-star + . Absolutely not one single complaint. I will most definitely return.
