I was traveling alone, coming out of south Texas and was past ready for a motel when I got to Mena. I stopped at this one--the first I came to in town. It was a good stop. The clerk was pleasant and suggested a restaurant that was still open. The room was clean and everything worked. I'd stay here again.
I found the room clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than I thought they might be. Actually my wife and I slept very well. Very hot water in shower. Shower and toilet drained a bit slow, but no problems.
We drove from Texas to Mena and stayed December 29, 2017 till January 1, 2018. Very clean, very affordable, bed was comfy, had a microwave, fridge, iron and hair dryer. Everything we needed. There is a lot of food, shopping and fuel close by. It was very cold outside but, our room heated up very quickly, kept us toasty warm. Will stay here again next year for sure :) Thank you Ozark Inn!
We usually would bypass this type of motel, but after reading favorable reviews from other travelers, we took a chance on it and were not disappointed. It was clean and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable. It was quiet and we could pull right up to the door. At $62 with tax, the price was right too! We’d stay here a second time if we ever again find ourselves in Mena Arkansas.
The hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside but the room was remodeled & clean. We were very happy with the room for the value. The location was also very convenient to drive the Talimena Scenic Drive.
This is a small place that I booked online, and I was a little bit concerned about what we might find upon arrival. I liked what we found :-) We were in room 115; comfortablely large with two beds, a fridge, microwave, and TV (none of which we used - other than the beds!). The beds were super comfortable and both my friend and I slept very well. The motel was not busy, and it was a very quiet place to stay. It's a budget property, immaculately clean. The bathroom is small but adequate. I will stay again.
We were in Mena to look at purchasing a house. Ozark Inn was recommended by a previous customer and was our fist time to stay there. Our room had a king size bed but only enough room for one desk chair. As stated, our room was clean with no complaints in that category, but very cramped and no place for a local visitor to sit. Early the next morning a couple of motorcycles were constantly being loudly "revved up" in front of our room so we certainly didn't need an alarm clock. Now we don't blame the motel for this but we didn't see anyone telling them stop. On our next trip to Mena we will stay somewhere in a room large enough to conduct business. If our room had been larger we could have given a higher rateing.
Needed a place to stay before heading to Talimena Drive. Check in was easy and pleasant. Bed comfortable enough and room was clean. There is some highway noise but not too bad, especially once we turned the fan on to run continually. The hotel is dated. It looks as if updates are slowly taking place but it is basic budget hotel. I would stay here again due to above reasons.
Really nice & quiet & clean room. The location was good. The price was very reasonable & the front desk attendant was very nice & helpful. Great customer service! Would definitely stay there again if in Mena!
I stayed in room 110 and there has been a lot of improvement since the last time I stayed here. There is always room for improvement but they seem to be on the right track. I like the new Air Conditioning/ Heating units as well as the other updated amenities.
