OK, let's say it up front-the Ozark Inn is a budget motel. With that in mind, the place was well maintained, clean, had hot water, firm comfortable beds, cold air conditioning, and was very QUIET. The room had microwave, TV and phone. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for? I liked the place a lot and would (1.) stay here again, and (2.) recommend it to my friends. Nuff said
this property is older than some, but the young man at check-in was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean...no complaints at all! and I see no reason to type more, it doesn't add to the review..
The people were very nice and the room was older but it was clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable. We would stay here again. It is easy to find and conveniently located along the main route.
It's good please to stay with family. The management is friendly .love the color full room. We will come back for sure. The only thing we miss is pool overall 5 stars hotel. Thank a lot for lovely Service.
It was a last minute decision to stay in Mena and I took a chance on the positive reviews from here but still wasn't 100% sure. Very affordable, clean, easy to find. In terms of discount hotel/motels, it's a 5.
I have stayed here other times with no problems and it's always been a great stay. I stayed in room 102 which was very nice. The only problems I saw with this room was in order to lock the deadbolt you have to leave the door slightly open which left a huge gap in the frame of the door. There were two small holes in the ceiling over the bathroom vanity area. These things didn't keep me from getting a great night's sleep with peace and quiet and a clean room.
Easy to find location. Rooms Up to date and clean. This hotel caters to bike riders. They even have a box of clean white cloths to wipe down your motorcycle. Small Motel but comfy. Only three pillows so there may be a fight later. LoL! Flat screen, free wifi, alarm clock, quiet new a/c, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Oh ironing board, iron and a hair dryer. All we need for rock hunting.
Unexpected gem. Stayed here on a recent motorcycle trip. No reservations. Affordable. Nothing fancy, just a clean safe place. The room was about $50. We were able to park our bikes right outside the front door. I would definitely stay here again.
I have a bird business..and travel with birds. I never take them inside..in winter I have a heater on during the night..and the rest of the year they are fine. Guy at desk would not listen as I was trying to show him..there is no need to take them in. Would NOT listen. Won't ever be coming back here..and hopeful you learn to listen.
This was inexpensive and just fine for our use. It was too rainy and foggy to go up the mountain, so we stayed in Mena at the last minute. It's minimal, but adequate. Beds were clean and relatively comfortable. Bath was clean and shower was fine. Coffee stops by 8 am, so be aware. No breakfast, no frills. I heard the train once, but I do wear earplugs when traveling and it didn't wake me up. I think you'd hear it anywhere in Mena. It looks worse on the outside, since they're doing some work in the parking lot and the venetian blinds in the windows look torn and tacky. However, there are adequate dark curtains so no one sees in your room. They recently updated the interiors and they were fine.
