I rely heavily on reviews but the reviews for this property are not accurate. The odor in some of the bedrooms was strong of cigarette (or other) smoke. There are air fresheners but they do not mask the odor. The remotes were missing for several TVs. The towels were very old, thin and stained. The beds did not have any blankets, only a sheet and thin comforter. Some of the sheets seemed dirty. One comforter had a cigarette burn on it. One pillow had blood stains on it. Two of the showers did not have a holder for the shower head. They literally hung down to the floor. That made it very difficult to take a shower. The thermostats were new but difficult to figure out (one had an almost dead battery). Many rooms were missing light bulbs. The house is in a sad state of disrepair. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and close to a major road. The house could accommodate a lot of people if needed. The kitchen has been remodeled and seemed appointed well. Overall I expected much better quality for the price for three nights. We did let the owner know about some of the issues but nothing was done.
