This apartment is a bus or car ride away from Cirkewwa which makes a day or two on our sister island Gozo a really easy adventure to have.

From watching an amazing sunset by the Red Tower to exploring the nearby caves and secluded beaches or wandering through the cute village core, there is a long list of reasons why Mellieha is a popular destination - this is a typical 'live like a local' experience that you’ll really enjoy. Sun Valley guests have tons to do here without traveling more than 10 mins by car, bus, or taxi. Bus access is great whether you want to visit our capital city Valletta, walk through our beautiful villages, or hop on a boat from Cirkewwa to spend a few hours on our sister island. Nature enthusiasts are in for a treat. Malta’s natural reserves include the Majjistral Nature and History Park and the Ghadira Nature Reserve, which you can visit. The Foresta 2000 Riserva and Koperattiva Rurali Manikata also make an interesting day trip where you can learn about local agriculture, trees and flora with farmers; plus a visit to some archaeological remains. You can also head into the woodland at il-Mizieb or along the rugged coast at Marfa Ridge, locally known as L-Ahrax, or Selmun with its view of St Paul’s Islands.

Location was fantastic - the apartment was very spacious with a great view.Some attention to the interior is required which we have informed the renter about and we feel sure they will action.Communication with the renter was brilliant - the bed was very comfy and the linen spotless with plenty of towels but none for the beach. There is also a safe hidden in the kitchen. The bus service is amazing costing approximately 2 euros each.We used the bus a lot as the hill to the area with most restaurants is very steep.Ventuno restaurant on the beach does a great breakfast and cocktails - staff are super friendly. Also blu Beach Club do great food as does Nora's.If you have to leave early the airport offers suitcase storage for 5 euros a bag irrespective of size.Also worth downloading the bolt app for cheap taxi.
