Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Large balcony but no chairs, staff at reception said to use dining room chairs but sign on room door said “no furniture on balcony” One bedroom didn’t have a clothes hanging rod in the closet Have to contact reception for items on the mini bar list Frumpy frayed furnishings Both bedrooms had view of cooling units etc No restaurant, cafe, or coffee except for powdered coffee in the room. The grounds of the botanical gardens are not very close. On the plus side the room was spacious and the pillows were great. I do not recommend this hotel.

Fast checkin. Room was large with a balcony looking towards the gardens. Comfortable bed and large couch as well as a desk. Good kitchen area and microwave. Washing machine and dryer as well.

Back of the bathroom door was filthy. Floor grout is black when you can see that the rest of the grout is trying to be white as it gruaduates up the wall. Small hole in the wall behind the front door need to be repaired. Kitchen was fine. Whats the use of having a large balcony when there are no chairs or table on the balcony. Balcony seem, to need some TLC and cleaning. Room for that price.. need some work to bring to standard of others around. I would use this again but would take something else in the price bracket if offered near it. Parking to get out at the end took a long time to answer to let us out.

Rooms and showers were clean. The gym is terrible, very run down, sauna is warm not hot. Treadmill is dangerously jarring when in use, cross trainer sounds like it's going to break. If you're after good facilities, don't come here. If you just want a simple clean room, this is fine.

This hotel was close to the Shrine of Remembrance tram stop, so it was easy to get around without a car. Its an easy walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. It was handy having a kitchenette and there's a grocery store right around the corner. It's an older place but secure and safe.
