Guest reviews for Fraser Place Melbourne
friendly staff good location
Staff was super helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for our needs. Room was compact, clean and comfortable. Hotel is showing wear and could use some updating.
Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. we re happy to hear you enjoyed the service from our staff and location. We have since had our furniture in the lobby re-upholstered in a lovely denim/grey colour. we have just had our televisions updated and are now looking to replace all the carpets on every floor in both towers. We hope to see you return and stay with us in the future. Kind regards, Management
Clean room, efficient staff, great location. Impressed me by my last stay and second experience was also great.
Took a short trip to the city and enjoyed staying. Clean room, soft bed, kind reception told me how to park with a very reasonable price. Also, very efficient check out.
check in was fast, they gave us all necessary information, including the breakfast deal when you book ahead. Because of the restaurants in the neighbourhood we never stayed at the Hotel for breakfast. Internet is good Quality, bedding comfortable including the desk, table and chairs. the safe could be bigger to fit laptops. we were happy with our stay und would go there again in the future as it's very quite at night.
fun, inexpensive place in a good spot for walking melbourne
Nice stay, easy walk to lots of fun stuff. Try the avocado toast at the many nearby brunch places.
My friend Gail and I had a very nice time at Frasers Place. We found it very clean and central to Melbourne town. We also enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants etc. Janice
clean and comfortable
Our king room was clean and large enough for us to move around comfortably. The bathroom shower was great with the usual amenities. We would stay here again.
we booked for 3 people and payed for 3 people only to end up paying $40 per night more for the extra bed apparently they expected 3 people to sleep in one bed, small cramped rooms.would only recomend for 2 people
serviced apartment in the heart of melbourne
The first thing to be aware of is that these are serviced apartments, this is not a hotel. So even though the pricing might lead you to expect hotel-like service you won't get it. If you stay over the weekend don't expect to have your room cleaned on sunday, for some reason Fraser's observe a day of rest for themselves, so expect to clean it yourself. There's a single elevator which can lead to long delays getting up to your room or down from it especially during the day when the staff need to use it to move the cleaners between floors. I know the tone of the review sounds pretty negative, but in general this is quite a reasonable solution if you want a studio apartment for a short period and don't mind a few irritations.
serviced apartments in the heart of melbourne
stayed in a small studio apartment for a few nights. The building is close to downtown within walking distance of many of the important tourist sites. Only real negative I found was that the bathroom hot water wasn't all that hot, and the shower didn't have much water pressure, something they need to fix (unless of course it was intentional and I've run across the environmentally friendly low-flow shower head).
