Everything was good for the price point and event we were there for. The only thing I would suggest, upgrading the TV in the room. We brought our Roku to be able to watch other streaming services but unfortunately, we couldn't. Only Netflix and Youtube available. And by the way, Youtube just kept "loading" during anything we were watching....just awful!!

It was an overnight stay before our family cruise the next day. There was an extend delay due to Marriott’s WiFi going out right before we were checking into the second room. Micheal (Mike) handled the situation well. He communicated the issue appropriately & apologized numerous times, though this was out of his control. He attempted several reboot methods until he was finally made aware of the WiFi issue. The staff should be made aware of these major issues immediately to avoid not knowing what to say to the guest. Mike remained calm & professional. We made small conversation to put him at ease that we were not upset with him, that was not his fault. There was only 1 guest after us that had to wait but, she was fresh off work in the hospital industry & was ready to call it a night as well. Not a pleasant experience for someone how has stayed with Marriott on many work visits. Guest were unable to buy items from the in-house store because the system was down. Now they have 2 choices, drive to a near by store that may be open or sit and wait. Extremely inconvenient. Mike did inform us that the manager authorized him to offer us a free item from the store. My mom has knee issues & we were just off the road from Miami that night after working that day and just wanted to relax. Of course we accepted the offer but at this point we felt really bad for Mike, he was all out of tactics yet he still wanted us to know how apologetic he was. Thank you, Mike. You are a top tier employee.
