Great hotel would recommend for a romantic nights stay

Great Place our regular hotel destination because of its vibe, amenities, staff, service, location and comfort!!

It was a great stay had sauna hot tub and great beer selection close to MASC and golf course across the street. I liked to service and cab pick up request arrived with in five minutes of asking. Wi fi is a little expensive 18 AUD for the day but was free in lobby would stay again for next years Austrailan Taekwondo open since I had a great rest and won the gold medal.

Not bad but not great either. All around basic business hotel.

Friendly people, good location, clean and spacious rooms

Convenient location for where I needed to be during my week stay here. The hotel was older than photos would make it appear. Room still comfortable.

We booked a vacation package that included flight and hotel. Given that the entire package was the same cost as just airfare alone I should have realized that the hotel would be sub par. Too far from the city, nothing really near it. Too basic for a weekend trip to Melbourne.

I have stayed at this hotel for several years. I like the location, but they need to spend some money on remodeling. The hallways have marks, the carpets have stains etc. Rooms are comfortable but again, need to be brought into the current decade. Parking can be a challenge as they also lease out spaces to businesses around them. Would deduct half a star from the 4 star rating for these points

It's good location. It's about 3KM away from city and near bus stop.

The hotel is good enough for a short stay. It's clean and quiet. The staff is friendly.

Rooms were well kept and clean. Staff was very eager to help out and just kind over all. Really loved the location, right across from albert park and a ten minute walk downtown. Would for sure stay again

I was there to watch the Australian Open. The hotel is about 25 min walk from the tennis center. One also can take a train which should take you there in about 15 min. I enjoy my stay at this hotel. The room was great, service was perfect especially the room service. The only thing I might criticize is that you have to go in the business center to get free wirelesss. There is a wire in your room but you have to pay $10 the hour ! But I think it is a very minor detail. Also, I think the hotel should hire one or two extra people to work at the front desk in the morning: I had to wait approx 5 min before begin helped.

This is the best place to stay in Melbourne. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very much accessble by trams to go anywhere in the city. The concierge. Mr Dennis Ryan, is very helpful and knows Victoria well. Rooms are good and besyt value for the money.

Good location. Free car parking for guests. Room had a decent size. Free local newspaper. Daily room cleaning. Bathroom clean and tidy, but in need of renovation. The room could also do with some renovation. Some electrical appliances are "stone age". TV entertainment - all free to air programs available at no cost, plus the FOX sports, BBC and one in house movie channel that played the same two movies for a whole week. Food at local restaurant was OK, but a bit pricey for what you get. There are a few good cafes within walking distance on St Kilda road.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel, but not used to such expensive amenities. Maybe it's an Australian thing in general? $100 to use Internet throughout the stay. Phone calls were at least $2 a minute.at least the parking was free. Did find the quality of the hotel exceeded the price we paid. Would look to stay again. Oh chocolates on the pillow were a nice perk too!

We had a nice room with an excellent view. The hotel is 1 block from the tram so it's very easy (maybe a 10 minute ride to downtown. Skip the pricer hotels. A number of nicer and expensive restaurants within a block or two. The Bayview is about a 15-20 minute walk from St. Kilda's shopping area. The shopping at St. Kilda's is pricey but the shops are extremely nice.

Comfortable, pleasant, fine service.

Picked the hotel off the website. It was a little hard to get to, but the rooms were wonderful and for $125 per night, we got a Superior queen room that included a Full breakfast. The room and bathroom were spotless (robes included) and the breakfast was great - pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage, any kind of juice and/or bread items, all kinds of fruits and cereals (for those who eat light!) For our visit throughout Australia, this was the best value for the money we found.

Not far from downtown Melbourne and very close to the rail. Not as expensive as downtown Melbourne hotels.

Good service, reasonable price (except for the food) and very clean. Ask for a large corner room.
