A lovely quiet house surrounded by the locals

We wanted a rustic house in a quiet part of Medulin yet within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. Casa Istriana delivered on all fronts. If you prefer the sea to the pool this is a good choice. The accomodation is basic but absolutely fine. The owner and his wife are both charming and extremely helpful.

Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub

Der Besitzer war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist zentral und gut gelegen. Die Nächte sind still und man kann gut schlafen. Die Betten waren gut. Das Haus ist zweckmässig und einfach eingerichtet. Es ist aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovation wäre nun fällig. Wir bedanken uns für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Ein schöner Ort mit Nähe zum Meer

Das Haus ist gemütlich und für 4 Personen gut ausgestattet. Zwei Bäder sind ein Vorteil, der kleine Aufenthaltsraum ein Nachteil. Gerade weil doch einige Mücken unterwegs waren, war das Sitzen draußen nicht so einladend. Auch fehlen Mückengitter an den Fenstern. Der Innenhof/ Garten ist wirklich schön und romantisch und lädt zum Träumen ein. Es gibt dort einige Früchte, die wir auch ernten durften (z.B. Granatäpfel). Er ist allerdings etwas kleiner als auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Menschen dort und besonders der Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und helfen sofort bei Fragen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Ort für Individualisten. Wir sagen Danke.

Ruhiges Ferienhaus mit hübschem Garten

Ab vom Trubel, schönes Ferienhaus, mit schönem Garten. Feigen -Mandel- und Orangenbaum und Katzen. Sauber alles da was man braucht. Mario ein sehr netter Vermieter, der sich kümmert. Besonders im September sehr schön wenn der Trubel nachlässt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Kroatien und haben uns wegen der Wegstrecke (Auto) aus Hamburg für Istrien entschieden. Die Villa Istriana liegt recht zentral in Medulin, da ist in der Hochsaison auch wirklich viel los, man bekommt das im Garten des Hauses aber nicht wesentlich mit, hat also einen schönen Rückzugsort. Zum eigentlichen Strand sind es eher 800 m, die wunderschöne Insel Vizula ist auch fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus hat eine schlichte Einrichtung, alles ist sauber und funktionstüchtig. Anfangs war es aufgrund der Außentemperaturen sehr heiss, allerdings lässt sich das Haus mithilfe der Klimaanlage in ein paar Tagen gut abkühlen. Ein Tipp vielleicht noch, das Wasser am Sandstrand ist lange extrem flach, unser Sohn hat hier Schwimmen gelernt. Der Kontakt zur Agentur ist einfach, wir hatten zusätzlich sehr, sehr netten Kontakt zum Sohn der Vermieterin. Alles in allem hatten wir hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub!

Idyllisches Häuschen mit schönem Garten

Sehr schönes kleines Haus mit schönem Garten und leckeren Früchten (Feigen, Trauben, Granatäpfel, Cinesische Dattel, Orangen). Die Klimaanlage ist etwas zu klein. In der Küche fehlten eine Teekanne und eine Espressokanne. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur und der Service waren perfekt!

Der gesamt Aufenthalt war schön. Der Anfang war etwas holprig der Abfluss in einem der Badezimmer verstopft war. Nach kurzer Info an den Vermieter und die Agentur wurde diese schnellstens behoben. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Klimaanlage müsste mal überholt werden.

Kleines Haus mit wunderbarem Garten!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, für uns fünf waren die Schlafräume komfortabel, die Küche genügt vollkommen. Wunderbar ist der Garten mit dem Freisitz zum "Speisen". Man kann alles gut fußläufig erreichen, der Ort selbst ist angenehm. Wir haben uns andere Strände in der Nähe gesucht!

Zauberhafter Garten und netter Vermieter

Wir haben eine erholsame Woche Anfang August in Medulin verbracht. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben war der wunderbare Naschgarten (Trauben, Feigen, Mandeln, Granatäpfel), der genug Raum zum Spielen für Kinder bietet (inkl. Igel). Auch die Lage ist phantastisch, ruhig und dennoch zentral. Außerdem gab sich der naturnahe Vermieter unglaublich viel Mühe, begrüßte uns, kümmerte sich umgehend um kleinere Reparaturen und stand für Fragen und Geheimtipps zur Verfügung, großes Lob! Das von außen höchst romantische Haus ist eher eng und südlichen Standards entsprechend, es ist also durchaus sauber, aber nicht so, dass es sich "wie zu Hause" anfühlt. Die Duscharmaturen waren etwas klapprig, aber alles hat so funktioniert, wie es soll.

3 Wochen Familiensommerurlaub

Wir (Familie mit 3 Töchtern) haben uns im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war alles saube. Betten sehr bequem und durch das funktionierende Klimagerät im Schlafbereich war auch kühles und erholsames Schlafen möglich. Der Vermieter war malnvor Ort ind hat nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei, uns mit Tipps versorgt und den Austaysch der Bettwäsche und Handtücher nach der Hälfte des Aufenthalts organisiert. Mückenstecker waren vor Ort. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten haben uns gut gefallen (großer Tisch mit Bänken, Sonnenstühle und -liegen). Sehr fußläufig war ein leckerer Bäcker und Obst- und Gemüsestand zu erreichen. Die Promenade und der Strand sind auch sehr nah. Rundrum war es ein toller Urlaub in einem wunderschönen, sauberen und gastfreundlichen Land!

Der Garten ist ein Traum!

Das Haus liegt zentral, dennoch ist die Umgebung sehr ruhig, man kann seine Privatsphäre genießen. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber es ist alles notwendiges vorhanden. Alles war sehr sauber. Leider fanden wir die Matratzen nicht besonders bequem und qualitativ. Der Garten ist wunderschön, viele Bäume, die Schatten spenden. Die Sitzecke draußen ist sehr bequem, gleich neben dem Grill. Wir konnten gut kochen, grillen und schöne Zeit draußen verbringen. Für Kinder ist der Garten gut geeignet, groß und gut umzäunt. Leider gab es keine Netze gegen Mücken an den Fenstern, wenn man die Holzklappen an den Fenstern zu macht, kommen keine Mücken rein, aber auch keine Luft und kein Licht. Uns wären Mückennetze lieber. WLAN funktioniert super. Insgesamt waren die Räumlichkeiten mittelmäßig, dafür ist aber der Garten wunderschön.

Great house for family with kids, well located, nice garden and secured

The house is really perfect for a family with small children. What makes it special are all the fruits of the trees which you can eat. A nice bbq and well located in Medulin on walking distance from supermarket and bakery. Rooms are well maintained. What we just missed is a dishwasher, while having 3 kids running around. The check-in and check-out was very smooth, even if we asked if we could check-out 1 hr later it was no problem. The owner send us upfront good information where we could pick up the keys, incl. telephone numbers.
