smaller than it looks

We have mixed feeling about the place. The pictures make it look very large/capacious but the space was quite tight. we were 12 people and the house sleeps 16 but we felt we were constantly on top of each other. The house is 4 stories so lots of creaky stairs. Noise carries easily so tough to sleep. water pipes make unusual noise. one of the showers leaks into the bedroom. upstairs bedroom had a bed bug.hostess ( Manuela ) was great and responds quickly. She also speaks English/writes well so communication is easy.
