Stayed at movenpick both in Madinah & Makkah, service was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to both cities. Proximity to both Masjid Nabawi in Madinah & Haram in Makkah is a big plus.
It was a very comfortable stay both in Movenpic Hotel Makkah Muazammah and Madina Shareef. The room service was definitely better in Madina Shareef, in Makkah it was average.I really want to appreciate the Restaurant service of Makkah Movenpick. The breakfast served in both the restaurants was excellent, but the day we were due to fly back to Pakistan, the helpful attitude of a captain on one of the Restaurant on P2/ P3 who was probably from Sri Lanka and his name was probably Ikram was commendable. Since we reached the Restaurant in a hurry very early in the morning, he helped us personally to get us a warm breakfast and hot tea as soon as possible. I promised to write a personal note to their administration to appreciate his efficiency. I hope someone from the Movenpic administration would read my note and recommend him for promotion on his efficiency. I truly appreciate his services because most of the Bangladeshi staff was slow and laid back. The room service in Movenpic Makkah was not too good. However the stay at both the Movenpic Hotels was quite comfortable. I truly appreciate their services.
I had heard a lot about Movenpick and had expected a lot looking at the reviews but unfortunately today was my first day and the welcoming itself was pathetic the staff especially the Arab men at the reception were extremely rude and did not want to give any attendance to us, Although later a Pakistani man came and assisted us but still it was very disappointing to have a welcoming as such . Leaving that aside the wifi as well is pathetic and on top of that the Tv was not working as well and when calling the reception for it once again no response from the staff again. Honestly I had expected a lot more from Movenpick seeing they have a good brand name, But I don't think I will ever consider staying in any Movenpick hotel again.
I came with my parents on 5th Ramadan to perform Umrah and spend time in Haram. I came several times in the past since 2011. However, this time I had the best hotel stay experience in my life at Makkah. The staff in the reception was amazing. Hareth Khan was absolutely helpful and he gave us a partial Haram view room and a very convenient room for stay with my parents. Every time we had enquiries, he took time to solve our requirements and we found him to be the most helpful. I wish all the staff members in other hotels in Makkah and Madina was as helpful and respectful as Mövenpick Hajar Tower staffs especially Hareth Khan. Just a short note, I'm at Mövenpick Madina right now, and the service isn't like Mövenpick Makkah here. They should learn from Mövenpick Makkah Hajar Tower service.
Furniture are old and not maintained, there was no bath roube, no tooth brush or paste, no slipper, and I have to ask for everything. The floor was very noisy. The space is small. I have been to other Movenpick hotels which are totally different
Very well placed... Convenient location and Good Service !! Very well placed from haram making it an ideal location for families . Restaurants and Coffee shops within close vicinity and exceptional follow up on any extra service needed!!
Friendly hospitality which made me feel at home, plus food was grate specially desserts amazing Service and curtesy was grate assistance for me to enjoy the spiritual atmosphere in Makkah. Simply marvels stay and great food
Excellent! Wonderful stay in Haram Makkah right inside Makkah Tower! Lovely environment and location. Excellent view from from of Haram-e-Pak Qibla-Ul-Allah. Nice and cooperative staff and services. Few asian Indian/Pakistani dishes in breakfast will further add spice to the lovely breakfast.
Spent 4 days there. I was so grateful being able to get a room facing kabah, so beautiful! The hotel itself is very strategic, located in Hajar Tower, it’s only 5-10 minutes away from Masjid Al-Haram (depends of which floor are you staying). Below the hotel is shopping mall, easy is you want to shop or find foods. There is speaker in each room that is connected directly to the Masjid You can hear every adzan, iqama and even the prayer in live from your room (there is on/off and volume switch for the adjustment). Room is very good, clean and well maintained. Internet is also fast in case you want to be connected with your family in your hometown. With all of the advantages, you can pray more fervently during your time in Makkah. I only have one comment, if I’m not wrong they have 2 restaurants. The quality of the food is undoubtedly high but lack of variety (this for breakfast only as I took lunch and dinner outside). For instance, I notice everyday they only change the hash brown potato to croquettes potato, and change white rice to kari rice (vice versa), but the other menus remain the same. I wish they had noodle or fish fillet in their buffet :D
Highly recommend this hotel to stay in makkah , it's my second time & i choose it for many reasons the major one is the location 2 mins in haram just take the elevators & voila you can pray in front of the main door of the tower All the facilities needed are available (fast food ,mall ,restaurants) Moreover, excellent room cleanness & services
