Very good value for money, friendly staff dealing with respect. Check in and check out was very smooth, room service order did take less than 15 mints, housekeeping did good job although the hotel was full.
The best ever hotel that I erver stayed, luxury amenities, execellent room cleanliness and condition, good food but a bit static to offer us fullboard packages especially dinner and lunch. I stay with my lovely wife and we were happy with all services and responds from the team. Someday, I will stay back at Movenpick, eventhough in this area has other alternative hotels. Have a great advantage and experiences, can pray at rooms since conected to kabah - Imam Voices. Memorable Umroh and honeymoon... :) . I would to like to appreciate to Mr. Faid Aied - Duty Manager who respected to the voice of guest .....very nice person with high hospitality mature.. Arief Maulana
This place is perfect by meaning its location. BUT the service is the worst i ever had for my entire life. I had problem with my room card. When i asked the cleaning guy.. they looked half hearted to help me and told me to go to receptionist. And then the next thing was unbelievable.. the receptionist..accused me that i broke the card and asked me to swear in the name of god i didnt break it. I said no.. it is still in one piece.. but he still didnt believe me and threw the card to the floor. Surely i never had this experience even in a 1 star hotel. PATHETIC
The best advantage is the location, it has a great location, very near to Haram, most recommendable to all the visitors visiting Mecca either for Umra, Hajj. As a Movenpick brand, everything was just like expected EXCEPT FOR FRONT DESK PEOPLE. Their staff are not friendly and don't expect the regular Movenpick customer service. At Check-in,the management did not spare any efforts to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and remarkable. The only disadvantage of my stay was that although it is written as a hotel policy to provide a bed for one child under 6 years old for free & when i had asked for that bed for my son (5yrs & half), i was shocked that they sent me a baby cot which is suitable for 1 yrs old baby only not a kid.. Rooms are very clean and tidy, the cleaning staff were very co-operative & friendly when you ask for something.. Recommended restaurants for breakfast were very ideal and the breakfast buffet was exceptional with a delicious large menu.... N.B: Only if they could make the kids area for free , it would be very nice action from the hotel management.. Inclusively, it was really a great experience MashaAllah and i will suggest this hotel to my friends and family. Sure I will be back and definitely it will be my one of my choices when coming back to Mecca.
This good hotel so near from Masjidil Haram just take 5 minutes by walk .Food so delicious and waiters so pleasant and humble to customers. Room is nice and have a view to see Kabah is very Amazing and me enjoy stay at Mövenpick hotel *****
I found the hotel to be clean and conveniently close to where I wanted to be , the staff at the check in were very nice and polite , however I found one staff member at the buffet as you walked in quite cold and lacking basic manners , a simple hello and a smile costs nothing , and unfortunately throughout my 6 day stay he seemed very miserable , may be he had other things on his mind !! , when people choose a hotel it's more than just how much it costs , even though I did pay a premium price for a premium 5 star hotel the staffs attitude guests should be at least pleasant . Other than that I would highly recommend the hotel , very close to the Haram :)
This hotel is amazing value for money. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would specially like to mention the manager Mr. Fadi Aied who I got in touch with during the stay to sort something out. He is such a nice person and he took excellent care of the matter. Not only this but he made sure that rest of our stay was extremely pleasant and amazing. I am really impressed by his professionalism and customer centric behaviour. May Allah bless him and reward him with success. The location of the hotel is amazing. within 5 minutes, you would be in Haram. The hotel is in the east wing of the clock tower and many rooms offer amazing view of the haram and Kaaba. Another great feature is that they have around 6 dedicated lifts for the hotel from the ground floor which mean you get non-stop from floor 0 to 11. When you live there for sometime, you would realise how big convenience is this. If you come by taxi then you go directly to the underground reception of the hotel (floor -2) where efficient staff is there to help you out. My mother needed wheel chair which was easily available (but it is first come first serve basis). The hotel is furnished to high standards. Mineral water, tea, coffee, coffee mate, sugar, electric kettle, iron, iron board, safe were all provided (in my room). A fridge was also available in the room which you can stuff with your own things. I upgraded my room to Kaaba view and was given access to 3 breakfast restaurants. I tried all of their restaurants and found the breakfast menu to be the same in all. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of breakfast items (english, Arabic, Pakistani, fruits, juices, cheese, salad, bakery items etc) and all were of finest quality. There was also a guy making live omelette which was my favourite. You can listen to live azan in your room (volume is adjustable and I think you can even switch it off). The main reception is on floor 11 and on floor 10 there is prayer hall for ladies and on floor 9 for men. The great thing is that they are inside the boudry of haram so here you pray with the imam of haram. So you have chance of missing your prayer in with everyone else at right time. To give you a perspective, if you do ablution at the call of prayer, you can easily reach floor 9/10 before the start of prayer. Living in clock tower itself is a nice experience. You can find all kinds of shops there. There is even a supermarket on floor 4. On floor 3 and 4 you can find all kinds of places to eat. they are expensiv
Is was really a great experience will visit next time as well and suggest it to my friends and family as well everything was on point there was no problem and rooms had a great view of haram MashaAllah
Location was excellent due vicinity and approach to the mosque Breakfast requires more cooked varieties; too many egg choices, Extra bed provided was not very comfortable and the blanket provided was not upto5*standard.
During our stay in Makkah, my sister slipped in the bathroom and dislocated her patella(knee cap). We contacted the front desk who confirmed that we needed to go to the hospital and arranged ambulance transport for us. The speedy ambulance transfer, courtesy phone calls to ask about my sister and earlier, my mother's well being(who had also been sick) and the compassionate and concerned behavior of all your staff were the highlights of an otherwise horrible ordeal. The staff also let us keep the wheelchair that my sister had used, for the duration of our stay. We were very impressed by Movenpick's hospitality
