We have booked our stay in club floor for three nights with my family. Rate was slightly high than market. Our reservation experience was very smooth same as our hotel limousine arrangements and the driver was very friendly. Hotel manager (can't recall his name) welcomed us at the ramp and escorted us which was really impressive for us. Mr. Aseem in the lounge welcomed us with his nice smile and traditional Arabic generosity. Check in was fast and effortless. Room was very nice and clean. Our food experience in the restaurant was mixed. Breakfast and lunch service was messy and poor food taste. Dinner food taste was better with good variety. Hotel technicians are unfriendly and hopeless in solving our bathroom and air condition problems although spending a lengthy time in the room. Hotel has a cozy lobby cafe which has a magnificent view. Staff in general are helpful and friendly but unfortunately with a slow response most of the time. Reception are good but we suffered a lot in communicating with them in English except minor staff who can barely speak and understand it well. In general and in comparison with our previous experience in Makkah, this hotel is luxury, friendly and has an efficient service beside its prime location which i considered the best. I really recommend it.
I'm blessed to visit this beautiful holy place few times. We have tried macca Hilton twice and also Hyatt Regency but this time we experienced the most wonderful and perfect stay here at Daral tawhid. If I start from the desk staff they were very friendly and responsible and gave us nice spacious rooms with livingroom. My whole family felt super comfortable here. My husband is very particular about little things and he was also extremely satisfied with the hotel. I experienced the perfect discipline inside the hotel and little to no wait for the elevators. Breakfast was really splendid with many food choices. The environment or the ambiance is really royal........I love to stay here again. Daral tawhid made my trip one of the memorable trips of my life. I pray to the Greatest Almighty Allah to call me and my family in macca and medina again and again.Ameen I also pray for those who make our stay memorable and comfortable and Daral Tawhid you are one of them......:)
Best location for the people wanna do umrah but you have to sacrifice in service room : Spacious Check in Brilliant Laundry service : Rubbish they forget what the promised and they have to return the laundry back too. Wake up call : really un reliable 2 hours late with no apology Club lounge: discourage to order anything extra from the displayed food ( eggs take 20 min or go to downstairs ha ha ha ) Check out : for club members it’s 4 o clock when you booking and at checking out its 12 so u end up paying 100SR per hour ) Room turn around or cleaning , They come and fix the bed and pick towels instead of proper cleaning the room changing linens and freshen the room For four days they didn’t even bother to replace the fruit tray or freshens it up I advise don’t even bother paying that high price for the name there are much better hotel in the vicinity Managers don’t have any concept of following up the complaint If you wanna get some thing done in this hotel you tip some one and it’s done Still regretting staying in this hotel
Great hotel with great location Everything was perfect Food , reception , welcoming all were great .. I wish to renovate the rooms its looks so old .. price for the lobby cafe (Zamzam) so expensive......
One of the few Best hotels in the Makkah Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its located just adjacent to the Holy Haram. Wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful location makes this Hotel The-Best.
This hotel is ideally situated in the Haram district with just few steps bared-footed to the Holy mosque. Hotel is a great example for 5 stars hotels in Makkah. Amazing service especially the reception in the club lounge are perfect and polite. Hotel is clean and shining all the time. Food and restaurant quality are average in taste and variety and their service is slow sometimes. The duty manager was very efficient in solving our bathroom problem during the stay. Hotel has a serious humidity smell in the room especially when lowering your AC cooling level and they didn't manage to solve it properly and this was the only Black point in the stay. I do suggest organizing some easy-English courses for reception and telephone service staff as they are polite and helpful but it was a challenge to talk to them.
Stayed at this hotel first time in twin club room and was glad that we had made our booking here. Staff were very polite and pleasant from check-in to security guards. We loved the lift system were you press your desire floor on keypad outside the lift and also there was a button to press for wheelchair users. There were other facilities which were excellent service provided by the hotel. If we do visit Makkah again we will definitely book this hotel again.
5 star hotel doesn't require any feedback .. it's amazing restaurant with great service and comfort rooms .. very near to Haram gates 2 min walk .. 5 min walk to kaabah .. great services and nice food ..
Last time in 2013 we stayed in Fairmount but this time we choose to stay in InterContinental Dar Al Tawhid. Everything from check in to check out was great. Breakfast provided was very wide spread and had different cuisines. Room was was very comfortable with separate dressing room. Backside exit of the hotel is right in front of King Fahad gate, very convenient. There is large prayer room on PR floor for men & women with view of Haram Sharife. All the rooms are equipped with sound system to listen Azzan and other recitations directly from Haram Sharife. Highly recommend to all those who are looking for convenience with comfort. I will Inshaa Allah always try to stay in this property on my next visit.
The InterContinental Dar altawhid is indeed a Top Stay. When you start a legacy it's not easy to keep it. But the story here is different. the hotel staff are so polite, helpful and patience, despite the large number of guests. they always amze me with their attitude like Mr. Hani Laban the duty Manger, he is very professional and enthusiastic as always, also Mr. Sultan Shankawi from the front desk he was very nice and helpful. in the hotel even the regular staff here are very polite and nice. The restaurant staff specially a Tunisian gentleman at the restaurant reception is so polite and welcoming. I can't recommend another hotel in makkah, this is my favorite. Thank you Dar Altawhid.
