Jeep Invasion 2025 girls weekend

Temps were a little chillier, but the bonfire pit kept us warm outside. Great sleeping areas and close to everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Short walk to the beach

Nice to stay in a wooded area with fenced yard for our pet. Spacious and comfortable bedroom and living areas. Nice deck overlooking the yard. Short walk to the stairs leading to the beach.

Long weekend

Stephanie was a responsive host and allowed an early check in. The house is nice, but the beach is about a half a mile away. Beach towels are provided! We stayed for 4 nights. If staying for longer we would have needed to bring our own paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. There is a gas and charcoal grill. However, if you plan to use the gas grill there is NOT a propane tank provided so make sure you bring one!!! We did not find this out until after we arrived and the host does not provide one. We were a little disappointed because all of our meals were going to be cooked on the grill. Instead we bought a bag of charcoal. The dunes are about a 10 minute drive and a fun activity. We had a good time, but wish that the description of the house details would have been more clear.

More Michigan exploring

We enjoyed a week in the Mears/Pentwater area! Lots to do including wineries, pontoon boat rental and visiting Ludington for the first time... not to mention very close access to a pristine Lake Michigan beach... The house was well stocked with kitchen items for home cooking - great appliances and even storage containers for leftovers! Beds were comfortable if you like a firm mattress, but not a lot of privacy in the loft area. Back yard is smaller than it looks in the photos and neighbors are near but not too close. Basement was fun for game playing when it rained! Host was very responsive and helpful - would certainly recommend for those who want a balance of time at the house and time out and about!

Annual Lake Michigan trip

The cottage was everything described. Clean with all the amenities we needed. Close to the dunes and the lake. FYI there are approximately 74 steps to the private beach area with a rest area in between flights. We caught a couple sunsets and our kids took a few sunset dips in the lake.

Loved the area and two seperate livingspaces

Easy walk to the beach, nice fenced in yard for dogs(must be on chains because fence isnt dog proof). Be very careful where you allow yoir dogs if yoi bring them because there were old pet stains and dogs always want to pee over other dogs pee. Dont let them walk away from you. Our kids loved having the bottom floor to themselves. 40 minute drive to the hunting grounds mu husband likes.

Labor Day Stay

My daughter had her Bacherlorette weekend with her sister and 6 friends here. They said the place was perfect! Stephanie was so easy to get a hold of with any questions. The girls said the house was clean and stocked with everything they needed for their stay. They loved the setting, the close walk to the beach and enjoyed the local winery and the thrilling Mac Dune rides. They would definitely recommend this property and would 100% return for another fabulous stay! 5 stars all around! Thanks Stephanie!

Family friendly and great location.

My family and I stayed here for our annual Silver Lake vacation. The home was very spacious and clean with many amenities. We really enjoyed the location as it is close to the dunes and has a private beach area to use within walking distance of the house. Access to the private beach area requires the use of a large stairway with many steps and is somewhat steep but, we became comfortable with it after a couple of uses. Being able to have a bonfire on the beach was an absolute plus! Stephanie was very easy to communicate with which we appreciated. Overall, we were extremely happy with the home and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Stephanie!

Perfect stay, great location

Neat, clean little cottage

The beach was the very best part. A little walk but worth it. The cottage was decorated nicely with a nice outdoor area. Double beds instead of queen were an issue for my adult children as was the very damp basement. Otherwise a great vacation.

Week get away

Everything is very nice about this location. The beach access is really great (but yes, a ton of stairs) This is a great place but a word to the wise: bring your own pots/pans, toilet paper/paper towel and garbage bags if you are staying with 5 or more people. It’s super expensive if you buy it in town.
