Welcome to Side A at Dam Camp! One of two container homes on a 3 acre property, this spacious waterfront home is located at the Lake McQueeney Dam on the banks of the Guadalupe River. Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, sitting by the fire, an outdoor shower and fishing at this relaxing retreat.

Dam Camp Side A is short drive (10 miles) to Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Landa Park, Downtown New Braunfels, Comal River, Guadalupe River, and Texas's oldest dance hall, Gruene Hall.

Water levels shown in pictures are current levels with Lake Placid Dam down for repairs. Water is 3 to 6 ft in and is perfect for swimming, tubing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The river bed gently slopes into the river, so you can easily access the water. Water stays at pretty consistent level with a constant feed from the Canyon Lake Reservoir. Be sure to bring your RIVER SHOES!
