I'm in town on business and i travel with my cat. This hotel was a little on the pricey side but is pet friendly. The room is clean and the staff is super friendly and very careful not to let my cat out of the room. I would definitely stay here again. :)
Did not enjoy our stay here. We were going to the Fall Creek Falls State Park and this hotel was not too far from there. This hotel smelled bad and just was not up to par. Would never stay there again. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I have traveled 25 years for business. I had a funeral in McMinville and this was the most convenient place available. How bad can bad be....of the 6 pieces of linen on the two beds in the room ONLY 1 did not have a stain; and one had a visisble sticky something protruding from the sheet. Floor was sooo dirty I wore my sandels the entire time, front desk guy was rude and did not even ask how my stay was. It was 94 plus degrees and there were rooms with the windows open that I never saw light on and assume were abandoned rooms. At night you were told to use the back or side doors which for a single woman is unacceptable...Coffee poy scummy - just a all around nasty place!!
I did not enjoy my stay here. The room smelled bad. My towels and blankets had holes in them. The wifi has a weird set up. When you connect you have to pick a 1 of 20 profiles. Only 1 device can be on a profile at a time. If everyone else in the hotel connects before you then you are out of luck. Also, the elevator was out of order when I was there and the breakfast consisted of cereal and a gallon of milk sitting on the counter with nothing keeping it cool.
Room appeared ok until I pulled down blankets. Sheets appeared to be unchanged. Long black hair on bed and tiny black specks. Tried to call front desk, phone broken, it was 11:30 p.m. Got dressed went back down to desk. When we checked in the gal working assured us there was no smoking and implied there was no pets allowed. When we went back down to get clean sheets the owner was at the desk. I told him we needed clean sheets, he offered to change our room. I stated no smoking and no pet room. He informed us all rooms were pet allowed rooms, he said sign stated it. There was a dog statue with a welcome sign in its mouth that we did not even notice. When I argued with him about the fact the lady that checked us in implied there was no pet rooms he told us we had to leave. My husband finally stepped in and said all we wanted was clean sheets. He finally agreed to give us a new room. The sheets were clean but thread bare and had little wear holes in them. The continental breakfast in the morning was terrible. Our friends also stayed there, she took a cup of orange juice and threw it away. There was very little to eat and it was obvious the management did not care.
Room was clean, only 1 coffee cup for 2 people, no Ice in ice machine on 2nd floor, I did find ice machine on 3rd floor the next day, but it had mold & grass growing on top of machine. Continental breakfast wasn't good, muffins & cereal, but the milk was bad, waffle machine but no batter & the pool was green as grass, Very disappointed for what the rooms cost, I feel they owe me at least part of my money back
The room was a little dirty. When I checked the bed the sheets were stained and had what looked to be a little blood spot on it. Called the service desk and the manager came and brought more sheets. He helped me put them on. He did not bring different pillow cases. I took them off and put towels over the pillows. They were stained. It was late and we were to tired to move somewhere else.
Alright so I wasn't here long enough to judge what I normally do but the man at the front needs to be more friendly and when I opened the side door the inside looked so old carpet needs cleaning bad stairs are wooded and creaking needs updated the room itself wasn't so bad I mean it's a room it was clean so can't complain
Everything was clean. I had everything I needed: Fridge, Iron and ironing board, towels, soap, etc. TV was nice. Service was acceptable. I slept great and the sheets and everything were clean. Breakfast was average. Wifi was available too.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Upon entering the hotel you are greeted with a musty mold smell and a vacant front desk. The hotel itself is in need of a complete remodel. The first morning we woke up to find the coffee maker did not work. I stopped by the front desk on the way out that morning and asked that a working coffee maker be placed in the room, the "gentleman" that I gave this request too seem inconvenienced and while his words said he would "take care of it" his attitude and tone told me that he was not concerned about my request and had no intention to replace the coffee maker. The next morning I woke to find that he did not replace the coffee maker! When I went to the front desk to speak with him, I found it again vacant with no one in sight. I would recommend staying elsewhere, this establishment has no interest in taking care of its customers and once you pay for your room they disregard any requests or needs you may have, treating you with bored indifference!
