The host was amazing! From start to finish especially when we realized our toaster was not working, they immediately got a new one sent out. The house is incredibly beautiful with lots of space.

Beautiful Property - Worth the Money

We needed 7 bedrooms; with 4 families and seven children ranging from 17 to 2. We usually rent several vacation rentals each year and find it challenging to get a house that works for all of us with the needed number of bedrooms. This house had everything we needed, room for all, privacy for all, a well equipped kitchen; lots of games as well as the game rooms. Add to that the hot tub and cold plunge - everyone was happy!! This house is definitely on the higher end price wise, but we felt it was well worth it. I would absolutely stay here again .

Great Massanutten Experience

My extended family had a wonderful time together at the cottage. The space and furnishings were just right—everyone had a cozy space to sleep. We made good use of the large table by the kitchen and also the deck outside. The various families all found enjoyable activities, including golf, pickleball, mini golf, hiking, and river tubing. We would love to return!

JMU Baseball

Had a large family group for a baseball weekend at JMU. We have stayed at this house before. It's perfect for us. Lots of bedrooms, plenty of space to spread out. Easy check in and out. Just as advertised. Could use a LOT more wine glasses. I think there's only one. Same comment I made last stay. :)

Ski weekend- 1st timers

The pictures do not do the house justice. It is a beautiful, spacious home. The house was clean , but it probably needs a deep clean (walls, windows, kitchen cabinets). The cooking utensils may need to be updated, but we were able to cook without issue. They had all sorts/sizes of pots and pans. It is super close to tubing and skiing/snowboard (within 7 minutos). Communication with owner was easy and quick. Overall we loved the house and enjoyed our stay!

Great house

We stayed at this house as part of a reunion. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for all of our family to have our own spaces but also had a a lot of common areas to gather. Everything was clean and the communication was great. The location can’t be beat!

2023 Family Christmas Trip

The house was very clean. If I had questions the owner was always available and helpful. Plenty of room for everyone. Location is close to the slopes and other activities on the resort property. Nice neighborhood and was very quiet. Would def recommend this property to stay!

Thanksgiving 2023

This property was the perfect setting for a family coming from 3 different states. The house was exactly as presented and Dave is a fantastic host. Massanutten Resort is huge. We went horseback riding while others went fishing and exploring the many sights within the resort property. My only complaint is with the waterpark. I brought a customer service issue to the waterpark management's attention that was completely ignored.

Great place for a family reunion

This house accommodated our family reunion very well. We had 11 adults staying overnight at the house and up to 13 people for meals. It was affordable and roomy and helpful to have 4 full bathrooms. The host was attentive to our needs, responded promptly to my texts, and gave us thorough information in advance. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. I would stay here again!

JMU family weekend

Didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the house because we were on campus a lot of the time, but everything went perfectly. House is roomy, beds were comfortable, everything was pretty much as described. Only complaint is there was only one wine glass. Obviously, that’s easy to get around. Everything else was great.
