Hotel desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all of the kitchen essentials.There was a TV in living room as well as a TV in the separate bedroom. Desk for working, plenty of plugs, lighting and seating. Workout room and outdoor pool. Free breakfast had lots of choices, including Greek yogurt, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, cheeses, and more. Walking distance from HEB (in the same parking lot essentially) and close to shopping as well.
I arrived to the hotel around 8 pm. With my two children (2 and 1 yold), my wife and my mother in law. I had a reservation for three rooms. Once i tried to check inn, Abraham (the worst customer service agent ever) told me that the system didnt show my reservations. I opened my computer, logged into marriott.com and showed him my confirmations. The manager wasnt there, so Abraham talked to him over the phone and they basically told me that it was not their problem, it was a system problem and that they were sold out and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with the manager but Abraham refused to contact me with him. I asked abraham for his last name and he refused. He was not empathetic with my situation and basically didnt care and he was not able to offer a solution. At the end, i had to leave and go ti another hotel, which i had to pay a more expensive rate. And im a marriott platinum member. I wish this guy either gets fired or gets some real customer care lessons. I will never stay at a property like this again.
Love this hotel when we come to town. Very comfortable and welcoming. So far they have had the best breakfast options available I've had . It's right by a HEB and Olive Garden . It's conveniently located by everything really.
Great location, clean rooms, comfortable friendly atmosphere, (buisness casual) night life on the patio, did not get to try the breafast but it looked great. Would recommend to all for a buisness trip.
Staff was excellent. Easy access to hotel, restaurants & shopping. Full breakfast & grocery store walking distance perfect for a business trip. A huge perk for us was the option of Internet TV, perfect for a rainy day.
Our three night stay was perfect. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and guided to the easiest access point for our room. The room was spotless and had evenything we needed to cook the meals we enjoyed in. Breakfast offered delicious, varied options. We avoid dairy and wheat, and actually had multiple optionseach morning.
Stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 4 in a 2 bedroom suite with queen beds in each room. The hotel was clean and nice. Some mild wear in the rooms, but just mild cosmetic wear. The room was nice with a nicely stocked kitchen. Having a HEB grocery store within 3 minute walk is nice to help stock up with supplies! Breakfast was decent each morning with plenty to eat. The wifi in the hotel was consistently good. Lastly, the staff was very nice and accommodating. Overall good value for the price!
We stayed due to a death in the family. The hotel was spotless and it’s located is in a prime location next to many restaurants. There’s an HEB grocery store literally right next door. Monica, the GM, has done a great job with providing the hotel with a fantastic team that has a passion to serve. Thank you and we look forward to returning when visiting the valley.
Included breakfast was good. Pool and Jacuzzi was very well mantained. Big área in parking lot. I did tavel with my family. Engouh space in the room for all. Two tv with internet TV. We enjoed our favorite series in Netflix. Good shopping malls nearby in the area..
Upon check in carrying an infant and a toddler I was given keys to a room on the 2nd floor. I was then told the elevator was OOO and not until I came in struggling with small children and luggage was I offered assistance. I realize this isn't full service but still service standards at a Marriott should always be exceptional. Anyway, that evening after coming back to my room rather late I realized my nightstand was full of ants. Crawling on the nightstand, phone, headboard, the light fixture attached to headboard. I called down to report it and as told nothing like be done. I wiped down the headboard and nightstand with a towel and removed the phone. I laid a towel on the nightstand afterward. I was very uneasy about sleeping and didn't get a good nights rest from constantly waking up checking for ants getting on the bed/on me and my child. When I got up in the morning the towel was covered in ants again and I even brought it down upon check out to show staff. Again, an apology and that was it. I realize I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) so it takes a bit much to offer compensation but as a experienced hospitality professional I know it can be done. Upon my first complaint offering to have it cleaned, replacing the sheets, offering to move rooms and placing that room OOO for (pest), would've been a nice gesture not just saying nothing can be done. Then upon my departure and physically bringing you evidence I'd think you'd not only apologize but see what could be done to make up for a less than favorable experience especially something like cleanliness (pest). I was given a simple sorry which didn't seem genuine and I'm sure that's because I was calm and not yelling and screaming. Hopefully my review on Expedia and TripAdvisor are acknowledged by management and further training is done to associates on how to handle and communicate with guest who have experienced such as this. I'm not certain I'd stay here again next tournament or recommend our team or people with he organization to do so. Doesn't matter which avenue was used to book a reservation we should all receive the same level of customer service and cleanliness. I definitely expect that out of all Marriott brands.
