The Neighborhood:
MAZAMA
We are located right in the heart of Mazama very close to the Mazama Store and the Methow Trails trailhead (for great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails). In addition to the store with its great bakery and grocery, Mazama is home to the Mazama Public House, Goat’s Beard outdoor store (with mountain bike and fat bike rentals) and the Mazama Ski School for cross country ski hire and lessons.
NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK
We are conveniently situated for easy access to the North Cascades and the trailheads to many of the Park's world-class hiking trails. It’s a 20 minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass and 30 minutes to Maple Pass trailhead. Great for beating the crowds and snagging a trailhead parking spot at peak seasons.
Getting Around:
Getting here: May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.
Getting Around: The location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.

Far better than expected 5+ rating
Beautiful and immaculate room in the Inn, Pine room #17
Bed extremely comfortable and couch too, bathroom couldn't be cleaner and really entire place that we walked through was pristine.
Great location with pickle ball we played and pool we didn't use but looked nice alongside the TV area in the lounge. Warned the WiFi was weak but signal was generally adequate enough to watch US women's soccer game on laptop and phone.
Really just need better signage to locate the place off Rte 20 especially if arriving late as "Country Road" is tough to find with no cellular signal for Waze or Google maps navigation.

Quite and peaceful
Lovely wooden house in the middle of the woods. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms had great amenities and was spacious. Loved the patio to sit and relax. Pet friendly, lots of trails to walk them.
Would be great to have some more flexible food options. The breakfast sandwiches were awesome though.
Will recommend if you are looking for a quite holiday in the heart of nature.
