Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was spotless. Staff and Owners very friendly. Stacey and Christine receptionists very helpful. Great breakfast. Its a 3 star but deserves a 4 star rating. Would highly recommend. Brid

Old and dirty hotel. Room was spacious but it needed to be completely cleaned and refurbished. Uncomfortable bed, dusty carpet and massive spider webs on the lights. Bathroom old and mouldy. Same for the leisure center, old gym and swimming pool. The dinner was ok but the breakfast wasn't great, not a buffet and we were given two eggs and one slice of bacon. I wouldn't go there again.

Stayed overnight. I left the River Moy damp and tired, after a days fishing and within an hour I had had a hot shower and comfortable bed in the Twin Trees Hotel. My Room, bed and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Reception are very professional and are used to dealing with anglers requests. Hotel is situated in the most beautiful natural surroundings. The family owners deserve great credit for keeping an independent Hotel so busy! Will stay again. Alan McMaster

I stayed here with a organized coach tour. The room had two huge windows that we could open for fresh air and to look outside at the beautiful grounds. The staff were incredibly friendly. Especially Christine. She recommended some great dinner spots (since we did not go with the tour) and led us to her favorite local bar. We loved all her recommendations. It is a 15 minute walk to the town of Ballina or a 5 euro taxi ride. I would definitely stay here again.

hi all .stayed for one night , room was grand ,food lovely. staff very helpful and friendly, town around 10-15 mins walk. plenty of lovely shops to keep you busy .playground across the road from hotel ,plus if you fancy a bit of fishing the river is nearby ,the beach is around 15 mins drive ,the hotel had music in the bar ,breakfast was lovely and hot and very tasty. overall a nice hotel

Satyed at this hotel recently while on business. Great welcome by the receptionist. Provided with all the required information. Very disappointed in the bedroom. Basic to say the least. The matress and pillows were not comfortable and the towels were of poor quality. There were no bed side lights and no complinentary mineral water. Adults and children seemed to be continually moving along the corridor and bedroom doors were banged and banged. Oh by the way. When I looked out of the bedroom window my view was the rear of a coach! Lovely waitress in lounge. Food was just okay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was very tasty, in the dining room over looking the Brosna river falls which has been recently tastefully redecorated. We also ate dinner in the bar on one of our evenings and all throughly enjoyed our food. Our kids really enjoyed the playroom which was just beside the bar & the swimming pool was also a great hit. We used the pool, steam room, sauna & jacuzzi. Granted the bedroom was a bit dated but very clean. The areas of the hotel that have been recently refurbished are lovely but there are areas which still need refurbishment. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and are lead well by the ever present owners - they seemed to be manning the ship permanently, they must never sleep!

Excellent breakfast in a very lovely room. Breakfast room looks over little waterfalls so pretty. All staff said "hello". Lovely reception area. The view from the bedrooms although look over the front of the hotel and the car park there was so much green that you really didn't notice. Lovely warm bedrooms. Just be aware there were three of us staying together mother, daughter and granddaughter (age 16) but some confusion as a family room only goes up to age 12 so just clarify when booking - it was all sorted out at the desk though so another brownie point. This is nothing to do with what I didn't like but I would make one observation. The beds are very comfortable. However, all the divans had different bases therefore a valance or pelmet would just finish the room off.

we stayed here for one night, last saturday. we were met by, what i can only describe as, the friendliest receptionist ever. She made us feel so welcome and was so chatty and positive in her outlook . i didnt get her name but she was on the desk around 6.30 on saturday night. She quickly checked us in and chatted and enquired about our day as she was doing so.when she saw we were from Cork she even went off and checked on the score of the match for us! She booked us in for our evening meal and suggested we have it in the bar which was just lovely. The meal was wonderful , as was our breakfast the following morning. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. A lovely friendly stay. Thanks to you all .

We stayed at the Twin Trees hotel, as part of an Ireland coach tour. Our room was very clean and well presented. Our friend's room was in the newer part of the hotel and was much more modern. I mentioned this to the lady on the desk and she asked if we wanted to move to another room. They had nothing available in the new wing, but she found us a charming, much larger room down the corridor. Throughout, she was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble! Unfortunately, I can't remember her name, but she was the best! The owner was also very helpful, but a couple of the serving staff in the restaurant were quite miserable and not very friendly or professional. A shame, really, as everyone else did their best to make our stay most enjoyable. A lovely setting and only a relatively short walk into Ballina town. Don't expect to watch much on tv, as the reception in the area is very poor. Phone signal is also weak.
