I stayed here for 8 days in March, the hotel was qutie empty as it was the off season, but I had an amazing time. Helen was the greatest and she deserves a raise. The surroundings and grounds were refreshing and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious! Helen and the staff were a delight to chat with and helpful. If I ever make it back to Ireland, I would stay here again.

Manager was absolutely disgustingly rude to me and friend was charged over the actual price. Don't visit this hotel its horrible I will never return. I knew the previous manager and they were lovely, shame that a great hotel fell in to such poor hands.

We stayed in one of the first floor rooms (nrs. 100 and up). To get to this room we had to take the elevator to the second floor, walk through a long hallway and take two narrow stairs down. The couch in the room had a hole in it (cigaret burn?). The bath was not clean (hair). The tv signal was to weak to get a good image on the screen. The double bed was t narrow to sleep two, so we had to use both (double and single). In the evening there was no staff at the reception desk, only a piece of paper with a telephone number. Breakfast was OK.

Large bedroom with both a single and double bed. The en suite contains a separate bath and shower, with plenty of space. I really liked the decor and the hotel is set in lovely grounds close to a river. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Town is within walking can sit in the grounds on a sunny day or use the leisure centre facilities. The hotel has recently been refurbished. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.

We organised a family gathering to celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of my husband's parents. We chose the Twin Trees as we had celebrated the christenings of four of their grandchildren there and by coincidence my in-laws had their wedding reception there in September 1967 when it was called the Downhill! From the very first call which was answered by a lovely, cheerful Christine at reception, through to the menu planning with Sue who attended to every detail and the warmth and professionalism of Ricky during our luncheon in the Lough Conn Suite, we had a beautiful memorable and special celebration. Thank you to the Rachel and David and all their staff. Three families stayed overnight in the hotel and enjoyed accommodation perfectly suited to our needs. Adjoining rooms for older children and their parents which allowed the adults their space to relax and space for the cousins to have fun together. My sister in-law has younger children so they got a comfortable family room together. The beds were super comfy and the heating thermostatically controlled which made the room comfortable. We all enjoyed the leisure centre on the evening we arrived and again after breakfast the next morning. The bar and lounge area is spacious and relaxing. I envied the guests who were able to sit in the foyer on comfy couches in front of the stove sipping their drink and reading - a luxury to enjoy when you are childfree! The luncheon menus were personalised with a picture of the happy couple and the children's menu adorned with cartoon characters! The food was delicious and service excellent. Presentation was top class and everyone remarked on the quality of the food. Compliments to the chef and their team. Overall there was a lovely ambience in the hotel...guests there to golf, to sight see and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is set on the hill above a vibrant waterfall and the fabulous gardens spread out for everyone to enjoy. I did sneak a quiet read of the Sunday paper under the pergoda in the garden, bathed in morning sunshine with the sound of the waterfall in the distance - bliss! Hopefully the Twin Trees will grow from strength to strength. Best wishes and thanks for your part in a memorable weekend and family gathering.

We stayed in the Twin Trees Hotel on a group tour at the end of August. What impressed me most was the lovely staff. They were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was welcoming and peaceful with tea, coffee & biscuits waiting for our arrival. The stay was fantastic value for money and we had a brillant time. Thank you all and good luck on Sunday!!! xx

Twenties advertised a completion on local newspaper which I won.2 nights b and b with 1dinner for 2 with tickets to a showtime show was cancelled and was told they would substitute with another date2 years on and can't even get 1 night b and b.very unpleasant lady owner.

The Twin Trees hotel is located in a picturesque setting next the River Bronsa and its own gardens. Lovely, free running, and peaceful. If you enjoy natural settings this is a excellent choice. The rooms are decorated nicely with antique furnishings. We loved the many windows that opened to let air in, including the bath. Something not found in modern hotels. I wish I had more time to explore the fishing also in the area. Salmon fishing is supposedly very good.

Great location hotel, has lovely grounds to walk round. Our room was spacious .it's a three star hotel but should be aiming higher .lots of cut backs poor range for breakfast .The bar has no atmosphere . The bar food was nice but three different staff served us. Two bottles of water in the room the first night but none for the second night. The staff that where there for breakfast need to learn to smile and greet people. Its still a nice place to stay but it's letting itself down

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was spotless. Staff and Owners very friendly. Stacey and Christine receptionists very helpful. Great breakfast. Its a 3 star but deserves a 4 star rating. Would highly recommend. Brid
