Royal Palm exceeded every expectation I had. The food was superb and the room (tropical suite) was bright, light and airy with a sensational bathroom. Seyexclusive organised the trip perfectly - many thanks for the expertise and advice! Very highly recommended, thank you for helping us choose the perfect suite! The food was very good - the extensive breakfast menu served both ala carte and buffet was very good. Some members of our party had special dietary requirements which were catered for without fuss. Fabulous location to walk into grand baie
Wow wow wow, this is just the most incredible hotel! We travelled with a 2 and a 5 year old along with a few other parties (members of our family). We had a garden suite (two bedrooms). From the moment you walk in the hotel just oozes understated luxury (no big brand plastered over t shirts). The majority of guests were European when we stayed with a large number of children (Easter holidays) and were half board The hotel is the perfect size and all the rooms i saw were incredible. All sea view large within seconds of pools and the most perfect beach. The room was very large with ample room and a superb area for the kids (own bathroom and walk in wardrobe) Kids club was brilliant and great flexibility with the kids. One of our children regularly stayed for evening meals and the evening film. Service was excellent and the food top notch from the breakfasts on the balcony through to some of the best food i have tasted at La Goellette. The hotel helped us organise a surprise BBQ on the beach for a celebration and it was both food and setting wise hard to beat! Staff members were helpful but not pushy and many knew our names some how (children names were already known when they walked into the kids club) Memories of sitting by the pool (always free sunbeds) or by the beach (allocated sun beds for you stay) with a cold drink watching the sun go down, whilst the kids played in the pools, will stay with me for a long time Top tip would be to enjoy breakfast and meals on your balcony (still exquisite food) and better than most restaurants Very much looking forward to going back at some point!
It is the first time after 25 years of tourism and over 50 countries visited when I had nothing to complain !!! Everything was just perfect from accomodation, location of the hotel, services......all. In this resort all employees are very well trained to serve you and to make you feel special. We thank them all for the effort so that we feel extraordinarily.
Luxury means different things to different people. For me, the Royal Palm Hotel represent the very definition of luxury. The hotel has a brilliant location on a perfect sandy beach overlooking the emerald waters of Grand Baie. The buildings forms a thoughtful base for a very comfortable life with active days of boating and snorkeling. Both in daytime and in the evening you will have different restaurant options, both at the very top level of cuisine art and the more modest italian style restaurant. One notices the atmosphere immediately upon arrival at the hotel. Here it is full focus on timing, beautiful surroundings( buildings, garden, furniture, colors etc) and they do everything possible to make you feel at home. We stayed in a Senior Suite which is about 125 square meters and we found it very specious and beautifully furnitured with sea view even from the spacious bathtub. The daily attention was marked by care without feeling it was intrusive. The service was maintained at all times and I can not see what could be done better. The resort consists of 69 units to create the feeling of space and they have succeeded very well with the new renovations. I have previous experience of Mauritius in several places and has also stayed at Fours Seasons Resort Anahita, The Oberoi, Lux Belle Mare. But Royal Palm is my favorite and is in a division for themselves.
The Resort was absolutely gorgeous and the service was great. All the staff were always there when you needed something and they were helpful, friendly and all spoke English. The beach was stunning and the sand was unbelievably soft. The pool was warm and clean and the rooms were always clean and the furniture and style in all the rooms and throughout the Resort were modern. The food was delicious and we were never disappointed with the service. The spa is amazing and the bar has a wide variety of drinks which is hard to find in most hotels in Mauritius. Overall the service was exceptional and we had a wonderful stay. Hope to come back soon!
I was there for a short period of time. The structure of the hotel is quite phenomenal but the service is disastrous. Room not well cleaned. Food service is slow. Reception staff lack knowledge. Overall I enjoyed my stay in Mauritius but not at Royal Palm.
What a super aspect for a luxury resort, toward the north end of Mauritius. Looking out over Grand Baie, stunning private beach, and beautifullly appointed rooms, all facing the water. Michelin starred chef in residence, this place ticks all the boxes
I will never forget about my experience in the Royal Palm Beachcomber. I came with my family and it was one of the best weeks in my entire life. Rooms? Perfect. Food? Perfect. Service?! The most perfect thing in the entire existence! If you can afford it (and even if you can't), don't hesitate: It's the best place in the world.
Such a generous, welcoming, clean, stunningly beautiful, safe resort hotel. Nothing was a trouble for the staff. The buffet breakfast served in the open air restaurant with the magnificent view of the water - perfect every time. The facilities always spot. The included in stay water sports were such fun. We stayed Tropical Suite and the large size was perfect for my 17 year old daughter and myself. The view through to the beach, sensational. Intending to return next Christmas with the rest of the family it was that good! Highly recommended.
From the minute you walk in, you feel special, the reception, the resort, the rooms all timeless/ luxury. Indulge in their manicured Garden Of Eden, walk on the clean sandy (long) stretch of beach, swim in the (heated) crystal clear pools. The restaurants....they are too good to be true : lunch or diner...try the italian...all soo good. The staff make you feel special - at home - like a regular, even if it's your first time - no effort to big. I am a big fan. If you don't mind to spend a bit more then this is the place to go.
