Definitely would stay here again. Beach isn't large and kind of rocky but you can see ocean from the pool so it works great!

Good location beautiful views. Lots of onsite activities for kids and adults.

Valet was rude, house keeping was unaccommodating, the wait staff was rude. The hotel itself is fantastic with lots to do.

The resort club is on the water, has a huge wonderful pool with waterfalls, a waterslide and a volcano! The pool water is warm enough for late evening swims; there is scuba lessons or rentals available, snorkel equip, body boards almost everything you could want for the beach or sea. A decently priced breakfast buffet each morning near the beach. Several elevators makes your room closer than ever, each room is clean and well stocked with all the amenities for cooking in (no stove, but there are gas bar-b-ques next to the beach!). Too many good things to mention, really. We enjoyed our stay and we will return next year. Close to Lahaina, self-parking, a luau each Wednesday, live music in the restaurant/bar and all around Aloha! from the staff and other guests. It's easy to be friendly when you are treated so well...

Great value for this hotel as we were able to jump on a daily deal. The guest were a little older than what we like and as a result we didn't spend as much time at the hotel as we normally would. There wasn't enough entertainment there for us although it was a relaxing place.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Definitely would stay there again. Was worried at first with some of the reviews, but thankfully didn't see any of what they were saying. Best family trip to my favorite island!

We loved our stay. Lovely beach and pool. Good dining options on site. Very convenient. Had valet parking included with our stay. One small drawback was that housekeeping was only done once during our stay - at midweek. If you want it done more than once, you have to pay $75 every time. However, laundry was free, on site, and even laundry detergent (for 2 loads) was provided in the room. Usually, that's the part of a trip I don't particularly enjoy because that's when I start hunting for quarters. Also, for kids and adults, there is an activity room and mini golf with many things to do at different times. We didn't get to doing much there because we spent most of our time at the beaches. Will definitely stay here again.

The property is really old, but close to the beach. Though the room was clean it had a musty smell. My room had a good partial view of the ocean. It was noisy. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Rooms are studios used more as a time share. Very well equipped rooms, clean, nice pool area, nice staff.

We had a great experience, staff was nice and met all our needs

Hotel is clean and staff is great. They kind of hound you for timeshare is the only draw back. We like the location being close to the beach. While we were there a workers protest happened due to no contract with hotel and staff.

The beach got washed away from a recent storm! You may have to do a small walk down the beach for a decent beach but it's a beautiful walk. The hotel I believe is one of the best to stay at in Kaanapali because of its very spacious rooms with kitchens (they all are suites 820 square feet) huge living room, bathroom and bedroom. The convenience of having store and restaurants across the street. The pool is also amazing with a staff members that go over and beyond to make your trip a special one. We already have booked our trip for next year because of this hotel and this will be our sixth time back to this hotel since 2010. I would not recommend that you buy into the daimond resort time shares but it does hurt to get a free snorkeling tour or Luau or other gifts for listening to a two hour sales pitch it will save you about $200 plus on some of Hawaiian activities. I recommend going through Hotel websites it's the cheapest price but the hotel itself will match any price you find. I suggest that you get a oceanfront it will sleep 4 guest you just need to look at websites they will go up and down depends on the day and how close to your departure.

Ocean beach property, not much beach left, not properties fault. Rooms has a musty smell, otherwise can't really complaint, shower fixture needs to be replaced or repair. Front desk agent was very friendly when I checked in, can't say about the others at this time. Valet personnel are very friendly if you give them the respect, and will help you if you ask. If you have a out door wedding party at this location, very nice, but you can party outside until 10pm, then they will shut you down due to loud music and people laughing out loud, they get complaints from other guest staying at this property.

Our stay at Kaanapali Beach Club was fair, however, we were instructed to pick up a free welcome gift at the Concierge and asked to attend a two-hour "Open House" which was a disguise for their very high-pressure sales pitch for their timeshares. After multiple times we said "no" and "not interested", we were told we were wrong multiple times, and had to raise our voice and become very frustrated at the salesperson and manager before we were allowed to leave. As a paying customer (or any other customer, for that matter) anyone who says, "no" once should NOT need to repeat their decision or justification for their answer. This is unacceptable and the definition of high-pressure sales. This demonstrates poor hospitality and ruins the vacation experience for your customers. As a result of our disappointing experience, we requested to speak to the hotel management and were told we would receive a call back but never heard back. Based on our horrible experience with the Open House, lack of follow up by hotel management, we will not be recommending this hotel or any other Diamond Resorts International property to friends and family. If you're considering booking a room here or any of their properties, imagine being pitched hard like a used-car salesperson and multiply that experience by 10, them not taking "no" for an answer, and that sums up our experience there. No one likes to be pressured into buying something they don't want especially on vacation.

Very wonderful honeymoon. The staff remembered my name the whole trip.

The hotel staff is accommodating and friendly, the pool is nice with a large number of chaise lounges, this is a beach front hotel. The food quality is good and reasonably priced and there are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance from the hotel. The beds could be more comfortable and the free washers and dryers on each floor may not be available late in the day. The experience was good and it keeps me coming back.

The Hotel is in a good location, the rooms are excellent, well equipped with plenty of space, and well served and cleaned. The only negative aspects:1. Renting with ocean view means hardly ocean view . One should better rent like superior ocean view to have a real view. We could not change for more money because of occupancy. 2. The restaurant for dinner is well located, but the taste of the food has to be improved considerably.

Came here for my 30th birthday with my fiancee and we had an amazing time. 4 nights with 2 tickets round trip fare was well worth the value of the package. The resort is as gorgeous as the island, the location is very optimal, and the service is top notch. We don't have kids, but this is a very family-friendly resort as well.

Since this is a timeshare resort, it is generally kept in good condition. Rooms have been recently renovated and include nice décor and a excellent bathroom, with 2 vanities and separate tub/shower. Staff was very friendly (especially Dave the bartender!) - except one hostess in the restaurant, who seemed to be having a bad week. The only real knock we had was the in-room cooling. They do not use air conditioning, but rather evaporative or swamp cooling. The room stayed cool enough but was extremely humid all of the time. It was to the point to where towels did not dry at all (slight problem with only one scheduled housekeeping service during the week) and sheets were damp. Even papers or money left on the dresser were damp after being in the room for a while. Other than that, the grounds and pool area were great. Enjoyed the BBQs on site and the tranquil atmosphere. If you don't mind sleeping in a humid environment, give this place a try.

High points hotel cleaning staff and pool area. Low: HEAVY constant presence/pushing of time share, limited meal opportunities, room advertised not reality. Called front desk when we got there regarding room, no remedy. Made best of it, but we won't go back to this facility.
