Room was a bit dirty when we got there, a bit of mold on the shower, drawers used for their old storage, out of date tv, dvd player intermittently opened and closed, front desk wasn’t very helpful with requests. The beach is beautiful and the location is nice for shopping and beaches. Felt like i stepped back into 2002 in the room. Not a bad stay but you’re only paying for the view.

This property does have roaches. They have a sign in the kitchen letting you know this and to keep the area free of crumbs. This would have been nice to know BEFORE HAND. The bedroom tv was not a smart tv and they did not have daily housekeeping. The staff was very sweet however, and they were able to accommodate as much items as you need. The kitchen was fully equipped with all you need. No restaurants near just food trucks and quick eateries

We visit the hawaiian islands annually. We absolutely loved the Aston Mahana Kaanapali. We had a 12th floor room. We had a 1b1b condo. It had everything we needed. The room was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai every morning. We could see turtles feeding in the reefs right off shore. The staff was friendly especially Fairy who works at the front desk. We played pickleball everyday. They also have shuffleboard. Can't wait to go back again.

We stayed at this property back in 2017 and not a lot has changed in eight years. The view is the same obviously and the views are stunning. This unit was on the 9th floor and very dated. There was carpet and tile flooring. We wore shoes inside because the tile flooring and carpeted areas were not clean. There was hair and dust in the corners of the bathrooms. We spent a good amount of time cleaning before we unpacked and the Clorox wipes we brought and used were pretty gross afterwards. There is no housekeeping services included during your stay but that was fine with us. We did have a brave window cleaner on a rope harness one day. Impressive job. We used the kitchen for most meals but did check out the sister property which had a restaurant near the pool and beach. They also had a happy hour. I mention this because Maui is even more pricey than I remembered from our prior visit. We made several trips to the grocery store across the street but skipped the food trucks near the park. We ate dinner out at Dukes and again expensive for just okay tasting food. Excluding the beach boardwalk area it isn't the most safest (feeling) area of Kaanapali to walk around. The best part of our visit was the view from the unit. We could see Molokai, and Lanai and also whales, turtles, dolphins, and stingrays (enhanced with binoculars).The rebuilding of Lahaina is going slow and is heartbreaking to see how much was lost (life and property) to the fire.

Comfortable room with an EPIC view of the ocean, we could see the green sea turtles swimming from our 12th floor balcony! Quiet at night, nice to have a fridge and a stove to make food, and clean shared spaces. We'll definitely consider them again if we come back to thr Lahaina area.

The view was amazing. Saw sea turtles and whales from the room! Clean and spacious. Needed some updates to worn furnishings but mostly just as pictured.Great location. Able to talk to many restaurants. Great parking.

Room was in good to ok condition. For our stay they did not provide cleaning service. It was with extra price & that came as surprise to us. Kitchenware provide in the room was great! Enjoyed playing pickleball. Beach access and beach view from room was good.
