Tired hotel, but what you expect for price
This hotel is really showing its age. Fine for a short stay. What you would expect from a PC. It's small, but functional. Getting rusty and worn in many places. Wifi could be better. Staff is great though.
Orange Hotel La Louvière
Brandnew hotel with all facilities
We went there on our way back from the Ardennes. It's very clean, very quiet, spacy and with all the facilities one needs i.e. a very good bed (typical for the BW's), rainshower, toiletries, special mirror, big flat screen TV, and a super breakfast. Spacy car park. Late arrival is ok. Easy to reach. For us it's a ten.
Novotel Valenciennes
My only disappointment
When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed by the dest staff, that I do NOT get credit for my stay at Novotel, because I booked thru Orbitz and not dirctly with them. Are they implying that Orbitz doesn't pay them for the room...I'm sure they do! I wouldn't have even known that there was a Novotel outside this small town, if I didn't check with Orbitz!

Disappointing
The hotel staff was impolite. Cold shower. No bathroom linens. Many additional costs.
