This very comfortable but reasonably priced hotel is clearly designed for business travellers and clientele almost entirely Japanese so less English translations in room of breakfast items etc. It's location just across the road (by underground passage) 2 minutes from rail station make it convenient for tourists visiting Matsue (very worthwhile to do!) too.

Be careful with refrigerator

The hotel is reratively new. Large room. Clean and comfortable. Wi Fi speed is excellent. Just be careful with its refrigerator in your room: it is turned OFF as default. I did not notice it and damaged my food overnight.

Hotel location itself is fine. Staff was friendly and accommodating to questions despite languange differences. Only suggestion is to look carefully at map for location relative to JR station. Was only able to see hotel sign after I crossed the street. On a warm and humid day, having to wait to return to the side of the street I was just on was annoying.
