Fox Cottage at Blakelow Farm is an idyllic and peaceful cottage with a luxurious feel throughout.

Thick stone walls covered in creeping hydrangea and 200 years of history make up Fox Cottage. Traditional charm and modern convenience blend seamlessly in a beautifully converted farm building. Fox Cottage is everything you want and expect for your holiday.

Walk through the pretty gravelled courtyard to reach your home from home, passing flower-filled baskets, a bubbling water feature and pausing to take in the ever-changing view over Bonsall Moor and the valley.

Step inside, straight into the large open-plan cottage. Feel right at home in the elegantly styled sitting room with an imposing gritstone fireplace and log burner. Perfect for cosying up in front of when it’s cooler. The room is spacious, comfortably furnished and accessorised, but the highlight is undoubtedly the picture window.

Look beyond the country garden and fields to the valley and then glinting in the distance (weather permitting!) Chatsworth House itself.

You may choose to eat out every day, but if not, the modern kitchen has everything you need, with the bonus of patio doors leading outside. You can dine in comfort at the well-dressed table or go al fresco on your own south-facing private terrace with your own BBQ and patio furniture. You’ll have plenty of space with the garden beyond and stunning views.

One gorgeous king-sized room and an equally stylish twin-bedded room that can also convert to a super-king if needed.

We can almost guarantee a good night’s sleep thanks to our dark night skies, the high quality, comfy beds and crisp linens.

Blakelow Farm is set high on Bonsall Moor on the south edge of the Peak District National Park with splendid views towards Chatsworth House and Park.
