Scelta super consigliata

Trattandosi di un viaggio di lavoro non ho utilizzato le offerte come SPA e piscina. Ma, l'hotel è molto confortevole, possiede un vasto parcheggio gratuito, è ubicato in periferia (cosa che in una città piccola come Matera è realmente ininfluente) quindi senza le problematiche della ZTL e del traffico mattutino urbano. La colazione è ottima e variegata (potrebbe migliorare se le bevande calde fossero preparate a richiesta e non con la "macchinetta", che non fa un caffè o un cappuccino di qualità adeguata al gusto di un cliente italiano). Stanza confortevole, ampia, con tutte le dotazioni necessarie (apprezzato l'angolo di lavoro con scrivania degna di questo nome, poltroncina ergonomica e punto luce). Menzione di lode per la qualità di materasso, cuscini e biancheria del letto. Un filino rumoroso il climatizzatore.

Un hôtel digne des 4 étoiles : magnifique. Vous êtes accueilli par quelqu'un pour que vous puissiez garer votre voiture chose qui ne se retrouve que dans les 5 étoiles généralement. L'entrée est somptueuse. Le petit-déjeuner reste bon : il y a du choix en sucré mais il manque un peu au niveau salé et de la région

We experienced several issues during our stay. The staff came across as unfriendly and arrogant, and the ongoing construction site at the hotel created a very unpleasant environment. Our room was also downgraded, although this was later compensated with a lunch. We also encountered problems charging our Tesla – the hotel did not provide complimentary charging, which is unusual compared to many other hotels around the world. Instead, we were directed to an external charger, which we had to pay for ourselves. Even though I asked several times, we were never clearly shown where the hotel’s own Tesla chargers were located. Housekeeping was also poor. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations.

Lack of charm and lots of weird rules

The rooms were ok, but the hotel did not have a welcoming or friendly vibe. Lack of charm and lots of weird rules, e.g. you are only allowed to use the pool one time if you stay one night (two times if two nights etc.), you have to wear a swimming cap, you could only enter the pool and the garden through one specific way. The staff seemed to care more about these things than making sure that you enjoyed your stay. Further, the food in the restaurant, although beautifully presented, lacked taste and was way overpriced. Okay for one night, but would not recommend the place for a longer stay.
