Great value, property in very good condition, right in front of the stunning old town. Room was great. Parking is not „included“ though as there is only street parking available, which is free. Had to pay additional night in cash, that was slightly annoying. Would stay again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A fabulous B&B with everything you needed. It was hot whilst here and the aircon worked fantastic for the hot nights. The room was spotlessly clean with a good fridge for cold drinks. Its very close to the old town and we could park the car in the next street for the whole three days. Mariella was very sweet and checked to make sure we were OK every day. We opted for no breakfast but there are good places within walking distance for coffee, paninis, etc. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Free parking in the ad refers to street parking - if available. We circled the block 5 times and got lucky with a spot within 30 feet of the entrance. Mirror in our room was bizarre and useless unless you are under 4 ft. Room has a barrel ceiling and the bathroom was built into one corner, so about 16” was on the wall and the rest on the angled ceiling. Only place I’ve been where looking into the mirror showed the top of my head. Room was otherwise clean, quiet and spacious and location within 10 minute to main sites. Decent breakfast.

Great stay! The location is great if you want to go into old town Matera. Only a few minutes walk. The room was clean, updated and good shower. AC was strong as well.

The host was amazing during our stay from checkin, to custom breakfast options, to cleanliness and everything in between. We were so impressed with the service at the B&B. The property was so close to the main Matera lookouts and tourist sites. The restaurants nearby were all very delicious too. Everything was within walking distance and it was a great stay for us. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend all our friends to stay here too! Amazing!

We enjoyed this property very much ! It was unique, very clean and all the comfort that you need ! Mariella was very attentive to all our needs . She was very gracious and gave us great advice on the restaurants nearby and tourists attractions. For breakfast, Mariella provide us with many choices. Breakfast was amazing , a variety of fruit, sweets and best of all cappuccinos , made to perfection! Great spot from which to explore Matera

In & Out Matera is in a great location with street parking available. The room we had was very nice with a barrel vaulted ceiling and a really fresh vibe, great bathroom and a lovely breakfast provided. Mariella was extremely solicitous using her translation app to communicate. She was very accommodating in letting us store our bags for a few hours after checkout. Our only problem was with the checkin process. The hotel isn’t staffed 24/7, which we knew and I had tried calling the number provided by Hotels.com but no one answered until we arrived on a wet, cold twilight. When I tried calling at that point, someone answered and I guess this had happened before because he gave me another phone number. And I reached Mariella. We had some communication issues due to language but I understood she was coming directly. She came us fast as she could and said she had tried repeatedly to reach me but the contact info from hotels.com was faulty somehow (strange since I use them quite a bit and this had never happened. I was cold and wet and cranky but her explanation and apologies smoothed everything out. There was some difficulty with the original booking going through so perhaps there was a glitch in the system.

Fantastic stay. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent water pressure and fantastic AC. But above all else, superb service. Owner was kind and very helpful. Can't beat the location. 10min walk to sassi or downtown. Parking is free but on the street. Would not recommend bringing a big car. Would stay again and recommed anyone wanting to stay Matera.
