This property was very beautiful however, I would alert potential guest that in order to receive the full experience you should book reservations at the restaurants ahead of time or else you will be forced to eat at the same restaurant buffet every day and will not have access to your full all inclusive dining experience During our stay there were all there were also rolling blackouts between the times of 10 PM to about 4 AM. The staff was hospitable and we booked the ocean view suites with the whirlpool and it was very beautiful. No complaints as far as aesthetics. there are a surplus of private vendors on the resort beach who are quite persistent so that is something to be wary of as some may find that annoying. I truly believe you will not receive better customer service and hospitality at another resort everyone was so kind and so helpful I would return. I would just make sure that I book in advance for the restaurants and other activities.

Pleasant stay at the Mora Zanzibar. Rooms are good and well maintained, friendly staff, service was good. Food at Horizon was slightly disappointing, i was expecting a larger selection and taste. The booking system for Jua Grill doesn't give a fair opportunity to all guests to dine there. The booking system needs to be looked into.

From the moment I arrived, the experience was phenomenal. The staff accommodations were top notch, and the service they provided to cater to our needs was exceptional, even though the resort had a strong family oriented vibe. I chose this place to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and they outdid themselves in making it a memorable occasion. Every staff member at the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me in decorating our room and made me feel truly special throughout my stay. Whenever I had any minor issues, they were always there to provide prompt assistance. I highly recommend this resort to any American traveler planning a visit to Zanzibar. It’s an ideal destination for families seeking a special getaway or a romantic retreat for significant others. The amenities are simply outstanding, and the pool is a must try. I also had the opportunity to go diving at Mora, and the diving team was fantastic. They made the experience safe and enjoyable. Before I conclude, I want to highlight the exceptional kitchen staff at the Horizon. Every single one of them, from the waitresses to the servers, was amazing. I can’t recall all their names because it was truly a diverse group. There was Queen, Christopher, Deman, Georgie and many more. The Mora Zanzibar is an excellent hotel. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of small issues. First the room cleaning service was mediocre. The additional services are pricey. The staff at the Horizon was amazing which made the stay that more enjoyable. They offer a variety of restaurants but you need to book through the app prior to arriving others you may be out of luck. Overall great stay and I would recommend to family and friends.
