I had to take a cold water bath today at 6:00 am because there wasn’t hot water available. When I made my complaint to the front desk clerk, he just answered that I should go back to my room to wait for a maintenance guy whom can ***teach me*** on how to use the shower mixing valve. Obviously I had clarified that this was not the problem! My concern here is about how they face their issues, blaming the customer as first approach, instead of analyze if there were any kind of trouble with the hot water supply in my room. I’m pretty sure that, this clerk intent, was to point out that something was wrong with me, but not with the room services.

I visited Matamoros for work and although we did not have a reservation, the reception staff gave us an immediate solution. The hotel is large, the rooms are of a very good size and the view is beautiful. The restaurant and bar service is very delicious, the buffet has very good options, good flavor and varied. The bar service ended at 12am and continued for almost an hour afterwards as there were some patrons. Even though I stayed for two nights, a very quick visit, my stay was quite good. It has everything to make your stay pleasant.

The hotel was a good place and the service is very good. I love the gym and the pool. The Shuttle service is nice, but I think could be better and the laundry need more maintenance. About the restaurant you have to taste the ribs and salads.

I decided to spend the night in Matamoros with my family. The hotel is huge and has an indoor pool, fitness area, restaurant, and a big parking lot. One of the 2 elevators was out of order at the time, also at the 4th floor there was a noisy machine to reduce humidity, but beside that the hotel is great. The staff is very helpful, and there is a guard at the entrance of the parking lot. The hotel is in the road to Cd. Victoria and Tampico.

One of the best hotels in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico. Located on the outskirts of Matamoros is one of the most visited hotel by tourists. Great service and staff members. Restaurant and conference room and souvenir store.

We visited Matamoros for getting the visa of our son extended. We stayed in Holiday Inn during our stay. We were recognized well for being a Gold Member. The staff in the reception was very receptive and helpful to all our needs. They arranged for a courtesy drop to a nearby mall. They were very prompt in arranging the cabs to the US consulate. They allowed us to extend the check out time based on the appointment time at the consulate. The staff in the restaurant were also very patient and helpful (we did not speak Spanish and we were vegetarians - two big challenges for them!), but they cooked some vegetarian dishes for us. I have been to Mexico before but it was a first time for my wife and son and they definitely have the best first impression of Mexican hospitality!

this hotelis very good, excelent location, well kept, good staff, excelent cover swiming pool and hot tube very well kept, warm water hot tube as hot as it should be,clean water, very neat . good food, clean and good space rooms, small gym but well equiped. if you go to matamoros this is a very good option

I stayed at this hotel for only one night while on business at Matamoros. It has nice security features which make you feel safe at all times. There is a guard at the parking lot entrance, the parking lot itself is very well illuminated, and to gain access to the elevator you need to use your room key. My room was clean, and the size and the furniture were acceptable, enough electrical outlets to plug and recharge all the gadgets that one carries these days. In general, once you get to the elevator, in the halls, and in the room the place is very quiet if you want to rest. Front desk staff were fairly nice and professional. I did not get a chance to try the food at the restaurant.

Good location Nice restaurant good breakfast clean rooms Quiet Good service

This is my first time in the chain of Holiday inn hotels but I have to admit I was nicely surprised. It offers everything you need for a nice peacfull stay and if on a business trip very good working and meeting conditions. Prices are quite reasonable, about 85 euro per night and for this I can really enjoy the hotel. There is a pool, nice restaurant, it is close to a mall (25 min walk or 5-8 min taxi). Rooms are clean, personal is helpful and speaks reasonable english. The only thing that I didn't like are the windows, they are hard to open, and you can open no more than 15cm which is annoying if you want fresh air fast. There is a parking infront of the hotel and even thoug it is near a major road in the rooms are silent. Breakfast is as in any mexican hotel, nothing fancy. Beds are comfy and you get different pillows hard/soft which are merked :_)
