Beautiful villa near Sorrento

We we’re looking to spend three nights near Sorrento, giving us quick access to day trips to the Amalfi Coast and Capri and this villa did not disappoint! Gated villa with amazing views, beautiful swimming pool, two private bedrooms, and great outdoor space with eating areas, BBQ and pizza oven! Davide was very helpful with our check in, and with recommendations of things to see and do in the area! I would strongly recommend this villa!

Dropped off

Well it started beautifully, with Davide meeting us Saturday and showing us the way to the property. The property was in a beautiful setting, nice pool with decent amenities. It told us to get a hold of him at anytime if we need anything. On Sunday, we texted him (whatsapp) to let him know the shower head was bad. He came by the next day to fix the awning that ripped in the previous storm and told us he would return Tuesday for the shower head, which he did. After replacing the shower head that day, he left and left a remote (garage I assumed?) on the outside table. I left him a message to let him know he did so. He read it (they are marked when you do) but never replied. I did not insist until Friday, the day before our checkout and sent him another message for the checkout procedure since there was nothing on the VRBO site for how to, and nothing from him or the house. Once again the message was read but not replied to. Saturday came, I left him another message stating that we were leaving and where we put the keys since we had zero communication back from him. Never heard from him again. Hope he is ok but seriously disappointed in the complete drop off of communications after trying to do so and spending that kind of money. Lastly, the beds were terrible, new mattresses are in order if you want to have a decent night.
