Villa il Cristallo - Homelike Villas

Immersed in a lush Mediterranean garden a few steps from the sea, Villa Il Cristallo stands on a natural hill far from traffic and enjoys a view of what can be defined as the "Caribbean of Salento", suggestive glimpses of fine sandy beaches, alternating with high cliffs and small natural islets.
The dwelling has been renovated respecting and recovering the ancient housing typologies of the place where it is located, a place of great charm that evokes Arab origins but also nobility and royalty.
Your eyes will be lost in a sea of ​​colors: from the white of the lime walls to the gray and red of the local stone, up to the intense blue of the Ionian in a natural landscape made of Mediterranean scrub and the scents of myrtle, thyme, rosemary and lavender.
Villa Il Cristallo has been obtained from an enchanting nineteenth-century trullo, where there is a double room with bathroom, and enlarged in the early twentieth century with two other double rooms, always with relative services. Overall, the residence can therefore accommodate up to 6 guests.
The large covered veranda connecting the two structures allows you to spend pleasant moments in complete relaxation, just as the solar and coolers in the garden will make you pleasantly discover always different views of the location.
Just walk 300 meters to be directly on the beach. For some cultural outings you can visit the Museum of the Second World War and the Museum of the Primitivo Wine Civilization.
In the garden of the villa, however, there is also a comfortable swimming pool that will allow you to cool off and regenerate yourself on hot summer days. By the pool, you can also relax on comfortable wooden sun loungers for real sunbathing or sip an aperitif sitting on tables and chairs placed in the shade of giant olive trees.
A door will directly open the entrance to the trullo of the main building and it will be like entering a fairy world. A French door will allow you, instead, to enter and exit the large and comfortable living room which, connected to the kitchen, will bring all the brightness of the place into the house.
Outside there is also an area where it will be possible to organize moments of conviviality using the outdoor oven. A large patio open to one side, with wicker table and sofas, will hold you in a familiar embrace during your afternoon or evening moments of rest.
Pets are allowed in the structure.
