Altitude Studio Apartment is a stylish and spacious studio perfect for 2 guests, located on the first floor of one of Martinborough`s most recognisable buildings set in the heart of the village. With Martinborough`s vineyards, cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique retail stores on your doorstep, park the car in one of the car parks provided and walk to all. With high ceilings, plantation shutters and a covered balcony you`ll certainly be staying in style for your Wairarapa Escape.

High ceilings and plantation shutters feature in this luxury studio apartment. There is a sumptuous King bed dressed in crisp white linen. A lounge area and large bathroom featuring a free standing bath tub and a huge walk in tiled shower and fluffy towels. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. This is five star elegance and the perfect place to base your Wairarapa Escape.

A communal entranceway takes you from the street up to your apartment door on the first floor landing. There is also a 2 bedroom Apartment `Altitude Apartment ` which sleeps 4 guests in the building that can be rented as well if more space is required.

PLEASE NOTE: There are security cameras at the front and back of the building plus at the entrance hallway and stairs.

Please call us between 9am and 5pm, 7 days a week during your stay if you have any questions. OR after hours only in an emergency.

Please note due Altitudes central location, you may hear the night life of the town with the bars being less than 100m away.

First time we have stayed there. Property very well located very short walk to restaurants, cafes, supermarket, bars. Although very close to bars etc noise level low. Plenty of room & could be very top class if fit out was better. Very small wardrobe that you had to take iron & ironing board out of to use, electric jug dirty & filled with scale & not usable in that condition, cups glasses n plates provided but no where to wash them apart from a large plastic basin with dishwashing gear in it. Adequate fridge but no toaster or other food gear. Very large bathroom n toilet but no where to store toiletries apart from a stool that had hairdryer stored in it. Towels entry level & well used. Nice shutters on the windows but some didn’t work. Standard in fit oh well below similar priced competitors in town. Next stay will be back to one of those.

Experience started bad

My partner and I were really looking forward to a night away for an event in Wairarapa, the highlight a night off parenting and a space we could relax. We checked in at 3pm to find the room not cleaned from the previous guest, it was in a state. We had an event at 4pm and couldn’t even shower as intended before leaving as there was no clean laundry. Property Manager was quick to respond which was great, however the only offer was a late check out which we couldn’t accept as we had to head home at 10am. For the price we paid for the accommodation for the evening, we were left disappointed. The apartment could do with a bit of TLJ on the balcony, even just a thorough clean, coffee cups also appeared very dirty and just rinsed so we opted to not make hot drinks during our stay. Location great, but not work the price you pay.
